Hi Mike, my mother was a teacher at the Elemantary School on the base in the mid 50s but she can’t remember which year. She says it was her very first overseas assignment, before going on to Morocco, Germany, Moscow etc etc. So it could be as early as 1953. I know you have a Facebook group but we don’t do Facebook. I’ve asked my kids to ask to join the group (Kane and Coco) so I hope you accept. My mother would have been known as Miss Roos, a brunette with short hair and a real stunner.
