Long time no see! :)
Well guys and gals, I've lived in Salt Lake City, Utah for one month and LOVE it.
This weekend, my friend and I joined a Meetup group at the Weber River about an hour northeast of town for an afternoon float.
The Weber River follows a mountain road and has a lot more rapids compared to a traditional lazy river. Be prepared to dodge some rocks and tree branches at certain points, but I promise it's a lot of fun. :)

Location: Weber, Utah
Cost: $25 for a two-hour float
What To Wear: Strap on sandals, hat, sunglasses, bathing suit, long sleeve to keep the sun off, sunblock, GoPro, a beverage or two
What Not To Bring: Anything you don't want to lose (phone, wallet, etc.).. leave those in the car

Thanks! I use the Sony a6000 and a GoPro. I put video files on an external hard drive, plug it into my computer and drag/drop them into a video editing tool. Hope this helps! :)
