Canadian trainer Randy Bird, who ventured to Australia to master his training skills shares and applies his training skills to the discipline of carriage driving. Whereas riding has contact with the horse and leg aids, a driving horse only has contact through the reins, voice and the touch of a driving whip as an aid.
