He has a lot of interesting insights. But he's way off the mark when it comes to Israel and Gaza and its sad to see how many people fall for that false flag.
It seems the ''US'' did a great job at isolating Israel from its actual would-be allies. They managed to brainwash even people that are against them into believing ''the genocide'' and thinking that Israel is ''the same room as US''.

Pepe Escobar's analysis is full of contradictions. At 14:26 he says " it would be if a war like that happened. It will be of course in terms of erasing the American unpayable debt"
but at 24:40 he talks about "total irrationality" of the tactics.
The "irrational" tactics derive directly from the strategy of US capitalism to maintain its hegemony over the world economy. They cannot turn back because they will lose everything. They would rather risk a nuclear war.
      - What dominant power ever gave up its wealth, power and privileges without using all the means of force, violence and terror at its disposal?
      - Hasn't US imperialism got a lot of experience in regime change?
1:04:39 "... they betray the spirit of capitalism we can say because they are not a productive capitalist economy"
Capitalism is about increasing capital, production for profit, not for goods. The imperialist powers go to world war for a redivision of the globe.
      Watch this and compare:
The Working Class and the Struggle Against Imperialist War
      ruclips.net/video/pWjb6eppx40/видео.htmlsi=6KGmVQL8kGCe8ELL&t=534
      ----
Escobar makes no mention of the international working class, he sees only the factions of capitalism. The capitalist class have learned from history and they know how weak their rule is. Thus they turn to fascism. "The historic function of Fascism is to smash the working class, destroy its organizations, and stifle political liberties when the capitalists find themselves unable to govern and dominate with the help of democratic machinery." ("Whither France?" Trotsky, 1934)
Ukraine, with the backing of imperialism, is also taking no chances. They have arrested socialist Bogdan Syrotiuk, who campaigns for the unity of Ukranian and Russian workers against the war, and have charged him with "treason" on the claim that he and the WSWS support Putin. The charges are absurd but make sense when we understand their fear of any Marxist criticism of the war. (see: ruclips.net/user/liveSl5DloY2f88?si=vlrpRd_dCbH3_YqM)
      FYI:
“In the period of crisis the hegemony of the United States will operate more completely, more openly, and more ruthlessly than in the period of boom.”
      - Leon Trotsky, 1928
“U.S. capitalism is up against the same problems that pushed Germany in 1914 on the path of war. The world is divided? It must be redivided. For Germany it was a question of ‘organizing Europe.’ The United States must ‘organize’ the world. History is bringing mankind face to face with the volcanic eruption of American imperialism.”
      - Leon Trotsky, 1934

There is one aspect of the fighting in Ukraine that the Collective West either doesn't want to talk about or doesn't care about, and that is the fact that the Ukrainian military is absolutely and utterly exhausted. They don't have any provision for rest and recuperation of their soldiers like the Russians do. Ukraine doesn't have spare troops.

For months I used to define the AFU's greatest problem as an acute lack of experienced NCOs and junior officers. This cannot be remedied by any kind of mobilization because there is no-one left to lead and train these raw recruits, even if they were highly motivated, which they are not. Then, surprise surprise, NATO members announce they are sending 'instructors'. Based on these instructors' lack of experience in fighting a ground war against a peer level enemy, I tend to believe the comments from NATO-trained AFU soldiers when they say, " NATO tactics dont work here." Therefore, I will stick with my past assessment of what the AFU's greatest problem is.

I hope Pepe is right about the ones upstairs. From our perspective in the U.S., these villains have a habit of flipping the board and being there to pick up the pieces. If they have the power to run their games postwar they will. Western populations may not realize it, but we are depending on Russia to defeat the men upstairs as much as the rest of the world.

The "ones upstairs" have power only because the Western democratic model they want to impose on the rest of the World is dysfunctional and corrupt. That much is crystal clear. The real questions are: what are the people going to do about it? And if people do nothing, does it mean that they are as dysfunctional and corrupt as the "ones upstairs"?
A war with Russia would likely turn into a World war. WWI: 20 million dead, WWII: 60 million dead, WWIII: 500 million dead? More? A nuclear winter with billions of Humans dead, not including other species? Is that what the people really want?

Here's a scenario, Belarus is about to fully join the SCO in July, it's unlikely that Russia would send out a call for help to China, but Belarus could light the Bat-Signal and the SCO would technically be required to respond. It would be a most interesting way for China to enter the Ukraine conflict. One scenario is to check NATO forces threatening Belarus to free up Belarus troops to move south into Ukraine together with a large Russian offensive.

the west knows that the people of the west have less and less reason to be excited or interested in peace. the rest of the world needs to be showing us what is good about peace and why we should be excited about peace. the reasons to be excited about peace in the east or south is not because Putin is great or China's Xi is great etc. it is because the peoples and the cultures and the histories are great. not because the technology is soo advanced but because the peoples and the cultures and the peace is top notch.
geopolitics is like a shit fight that the west is willing to sink deeper and deeper into. the information and thought programming is literally hegemonic. knowing you can't speak or think openly is one thing, but believing you are the free alternative while being unable to speak or think openly is the great paradox. the great paradox of the so called 'liberal democracy'. what is liberal? what is democratic? it is like a prayer from the crusades or something. Or the prayer of king Leopold. it is a power contest that the western oligarchy can afford to lose over and over and over and over and over. why? because losing isn't losing for them. it is zero sum. And this dynamic is part of the thought control regime. we are supposed to believe that 'our' freedom is at risk. Yeah right!

Now that China has made it very clear that their 'no limits' partnership with Russia includes military support as and when deemed necessary by either partner, the combined military productive capacity of their partnership should have the more rational military heads within the NATO+ project warning the U.S. administration about the difficulty of weakening let alone defeating Russia and or China, using conventional weapons. The use of nuclear weapons is another MAD story.

    An excerpt :
There are three events in the making to finish Germany off, and thereby the current European order:
    ● 1) When Russia finishes off Ukraine, which should be by the end of this year (if there is no major external escalation), Russia will have a land bridge to Hungary and Serbia. This will give these countries the opportunity to choose markets and suppliers freely by the mechanisms of a free-market economy and not by blackmail and pressure (EU).
Since the neighboring EU countries will get step-by-step access to this new economic lifeline, it is expected that more European countries will choose to trade with BRICS instead of being forced to trade with countries where they pay twice the price. Moreover, they will be able to sell their products in other currencies and become competitive again.
    ● 2) Germany depends heavily on trade with China, both for imports and exports. Check out Economics and Empires 2 for detailed figures. If Germany loses access to China, then this would be a death blow to the German economy. It is very hard to imagine how Germany could survive this with its current business model.
But hey, why should Germany lose access to China? 😊 It is not suicidal? 😊
Correct. Germany will lose access to China exactly as it lost access to cheap Russian gas. The Americans blew up the Nord Stream pipeline, so they will blow up German relations and trade with China. Most likely through some crazy EU regulations that are already in the making (see the US tariffs on Chinese EV cars). And through internal saboteurs like the German Green Party.
    ● 3) Finally, Germany also has a big market in the USA. The US doesn’t want to have Germany in its market anymore since they want to reindustrialize. The US accepts German companies in its markets only if the German companies move their production to the US. Apart from that, they do everything to make German business uncompetitive, such as blowing up pipelines and forcing entirely unrealistic green transformation projects on Germany through their “The Green Party” saboteurs.
So, Germans are not only going to lose the American market. They are also going to be transformed from a producer and exporter of goods to a consumer and importer of goods. Especially from China in the short term and the US in the long term (if these plans succeed, which remains to be seen).
    ___________
And with a failing (maybe even a disintegration) Germany, the European political and military landscape will change dramatically.
And this is the difference between short-time thinking and strategic planning/thinking. Currently, things might be covered up to look “okay,” but the big blows have not arrived yet. They will unravel within the next three years.

Good take I mostly agree. However with the impending collapse of project Ukraine the current government will most likely come under pressure by the conservative movement which I suspect will search reunification with Russia and China for import and export. This will of course also depend heavily on who will be elected in thr US come November.

@@refax808 It's difficult to imagine the US allowing Ukraine to alter their loyalty. Also, I've always thought that the US will not allow Trump to win - in which case, it will be more of the same, especially if they do a last minute swap of someone else for Biden. (but what do I know - these are hunches, only.)

Great analysis. But we have to remember that Germany is very unpredictable. That is why there is so much emphasis on control of German politics. They are the powerhouse of EU but the past keeps haunting them where the average German discards political sciences. Its very important to understand one's place in the family, community nationally and globally. As a Scandinavian i would love to see us stepping up to the plate but our primary demograpics are old people. Or political scene is like that of the 80s-90s... "Putin bad!" everything is blamed on Putin it's become a meme amongst our youth. 🙃🙂

Just to say Germanys trade is mainly in EU.
254,4 Billion Euro Germany with China (Export & Import).
China remains German's. Trade partner since 2015.
      2. USA with 252,5 Bil. Euro
      3. Netherland (with an insignificant population of 18 Million but mailx smart cookies from all over the world, just to say) 220,3 Bil. Euro.
Germans total trade all over the world was 2950 Bil. Euro.
The surplus trade comes 1. USA, 2. France, 3. UK. Good customers..😊
China vs Germany surplus was 60 Bil. Euro. So by showing down trade with China seems so that the will earn earn less.. and Germans pay more for mass production stuff..
In general my belief is people, all of us, want to live in peace with a little bit of security and have fun in what they're doing in this short life.
So someone said this week: the low cost solution for Ukraine is to take Russias security concerns serious. Obviously we are all waiting for this break through perception and new realities. In this let's pray for enlightenment for the blind to make them see.. again 😊

  • @MariaMMCardoso

the point was exactly to stretch the tension to breaking point. The plan is now to see on which side the rope is going to break first. If it will be the russians (again) to react to the provocations, then the US is going again on an "unprovoked" spree... For heavens sake guys, I learned that around 10 with my cousins. Disclosure: yes, I was always the first to explode what resulted in being grounded by my parents and having a reputation of being an agressive child. Then I grew up, understood the game and got wiser.
