I'd say both male and female choreography are equally hard. Any seasoned female trainee/idol can cover their male counterparts dances with relative ease tbh. In the end its still dancing and following the same formula aka covering. With a long practice time they can dance it to perfection no doubts since that's what they do 24/7
It's not the myth, it just generally true. But the fact that girls can do bg choreos is a completly different topic, and only idiots are thinking that they can't do it.
