I'm a big, big fan of your videos and can't wait until the next one is out! Some of the places I've been before and it is funny to see them here again. What's your plan for the next one?
Thank you chacker for the kind words. My plan for the next one is to continue exploring the Reykjanes peninsula and visit Gunnuhver hot spring. If weather and road conditions are favorable you should see it this weekend.
As you walk around, aren't you walking on past lava flows? The landscape just looks like the town was built atop past lava flows, and I suppose under the premise that there would be no more eruptions here? 🤔
You are correct. However people started settling there a long time ago and so it just continued. It's hard to say if a particular area is going to be quiet or disruptive in the next 10 thousand years.
Sorry Alan I don't include any dialogue in my videos. However there is a short description in the description and you can turn on captions for timestamps in some of the tours. Also if you have any questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them.

One of the channels which is "first like, then watch"
Haha thank you friend I appreciate it
Another lovely beautiful quiet peaceful town in Iceland. It's one of the many other places in Iceland I would love to go to.
It’s sad watching this knowing what’s happening there now. Sending good thoughts to the people who have called this beautiful town home.
@@cqbarnieify Yes it's sad. Hopefully there will be no eruption.
Perfektan video!
♥
Just discovered your channel and I'm fascinated!
I'd love to see a walking tour through an Icelandic supermarket
Thank you MiniMini I'm glad you find it fascinating. Interesting suggestion about supermarket, I might do that someday.
Hopefully the town will survive the volcano
Let's hope so but there is already so much damage
I was expecting you to end your walk with a delicious hot beverage in Cafe Bryggjan!
I haven't been there, will have to check it out sometime
Is Grindavik just a name, or do they still take the grind?
Hahaha
@@IcelandHotSpots that wad a serious question
That red house in the beginning called akur is my grandmas house or collection i should say since she is a collector
Mjög áhugavert, takk fyrir. Very interesting, thank you.

Sorry to see whats happening to this place right now. Came here to see what it looked like before
Watching this as the volcanoes, threatening to bury this place under lava such a waste
Yes a terrible situation..
Pozdrav za Jovicu Latinovic......pozdrav za ljude iz ovog mesta iz SRBIJE😃
Hvala vam puno Rango :)
Where are all the people? Looks like an abandonned village...
It's pretty typical for non summer months during working hours.
Not even a single word describing the area. Bad one.
