Ms. Lynn, you also have the responsibility to know it too. Of course I don't have to contact him since I'm not personally attacking him. Why would I discuss with him since he is so ignorant? I'm pretty sure you know that too.
Religion will guide you to the truth. People need religion because we have different level of understanding and religion will keep you from straying from the truth. There is only "One Truth" and who dares to claim that truth. There are more than 33,000 different Christian denominations including this pastor's and I'm pretty sure he would claim that his Bible interpretation holds the truth. If it is true, then the other 32, 999 denominations are in error. Remember, only "One Truth".... Think....
Where is my preaching? You think preaching is only by mouth only? For those people with humble and hungry hearts for the truth, my comments would be even better than preaching half the truth. It is absolutely wrong that we are called to have "Personal Relationship with God". I don't think there is no direct implication from the Bible backing up that claim. So, you should learn your faith and know what your faith is based upon then you will be less likely to be deceived. In stead of saying "Amen" and "Hallelujah", know them before before you say it. Those verses are talking about "Christians". Christianity is made up of individuals who follow Christ. People who share the same view in the same believe system develop an organization called a "Religion" such as Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, and Christianity.
This sermon is a heresy from the very beginning. I can't believe that people just trust his sermon blindly whatever they are told (preached). The analogy used in the beginning of the sermon was also so childish. He stated that there is no word stating "Christian Religion" in the Bible. Of course not. Neither does the word "Bible" nor "Trinity" in the Bible, but you still believe in those words. Remember not everything is in the Bible.
