Thank you so much for the most thorough and one of the best reviews of the AC500 and B300S that I have viewed to date. I appreciate all of the time and effort that it must have taken you to complete this well presented review. Awesome Review, ever minute from beginning to end had good informational value, please keep making more review videos, this one is really Great!
Wow! I'm so glad that you made this video available. Yesterday, I unboxed my AC500 (with two BC300S batteries) and was hoping to get detailed information on the LCD display controls. So I went to RUclips and there you were! Excellent review! Thank you so much!!
I love the extra technical details you provide, explained in a straight forward manner. You may not have 8K recording, tropical house background music and snazzy animations, but you provide something that very few other people do. You've earned a subscriber here. Hope to see these kinds of analyses from the kinds of Bluetti, EcoFlow and Anker in the future. Keep up the good work!
Great video. I went with the AC500 based on your video. I know real world power needs are always more than we think, so I splurged on this thinking of future needs. On a nitpicking note, the B300s is 100 pounds in the box. The unboxed actual unit spec is 83.8 pounds, so you can stack 3 of them on one of those 300-pound-rated rolling carts. (I found that the empty double boxes themselves are pretty heavy when I was stacking them in my storage room.) My house is laid out nicely for running power cords without tripping hazards. The sunken living room provides a great pathway at the step down edge for them to run to my bedroom and utility room. The kitchen walls don't go all the way up to the A-frame ceiling, so it's convenient for running power cords along the top to the Fridge and appliances without breaking any fire codes (you can't run extension cords through walls.) I came to realize I don't need a transfer switch at all. Everything but the LED bulb house lights are run by the Bluetti.
Great video, thank you! I just bought a AC500 unit and am waiting for the adapter cord so I can use it with my B300 batteries. The video was super helpful, as I am having an off grid small house built in southern AZ, which will be ready soon.
Nice review. I have 9 lithium generators of 5 different brands and like my 3 Bluetti's the most, with great features and overall quality. I might get this one next.
Love the amount of technical detail information you provide. The third time I've reviewed your presentation, and each time I have gotten greater insight to help me with making a decision in this space. Thanks.
really good job, Thank you! Bluetti, listen to this man! PLEASE do split phase in same unit and don't treat cable management as an afterthought. Your split phase solution is ridiculous!
Great overview. I wish there is a “time to empty” countdown indicator like the Goal Zero Yetti system have. Bluetti sounds awful like Yetti use by GZ. Wonder if that was intentional parasitic marketing. (Is that even a term?)
By keeping PV plugged in, is there a way to a. Limit charging to 90% or other value and b. Limit charing time example from 9am to 6pm to avoid consumption durinf night when there is no sun?
What does output state "Load Matching" mean? The AC load icon is a dark orange. I'm seeing this on my EP500 Pro. My situation: 1) 600 Watts of solar coming in 2) Battery at 52% 3) AC (grid) power plugged in and available but not being used because I have PV priority mode (only uses grid if battery below 50%). 4) A load of 800 Watts plugged into one of the AC outputs Thanks!
I didn't want to get into it on a livestream, but the AC300 is not a mini version of the AC500. These units are all unique. People are spending money based on your advice.
I notice one battery is connected, but it's listed as battery #2... I have two AC500 combo, one shows as battery #2 regardless of which AC500 it's connected to. Any ideas of what's going on with this? It should be reassigned Battery #1 when used with another AC500.
The AC500 assigns battery numbers based on where the battery was installed initially. I don’t know if a way to get it to reassign battery numbers once the battery is initially associated. Why do you need to do this? Other than aesthetics, the battery number does not have much meaning.
@@WaveformScience Why assign this way? I have two AC500 units and two B300s batteries with the intent of adding more batteries, and if needed be able to exchange and use batteries between them, when I need to use at separate locations. In essence, if I need to swap in a third battery to meet the higher demand my 2nd location, the 3rd battery will have an identical ID as one already installed there. I would now have multiple Battery #1, or Battery #2... this makes little sense. This is not an issue of aesthetics in my opinion, it's an issue of properly identifying a component in a system for the many obvious reasons. If IDs have little meaning, why label it anything? It's position on the touch screen is enough to show its placement in the system. I do worry that the BMS, or controller itself uses the ID in the management of the system somehow. Oddly, Bluetti had contacted me on FB and asked that I send a pic of the screen and serial number of the unit. The AC500 has a serial number, but I cannot find one on the $2K battery unit. If this were the PS70, I probably wouldn't care.
Does anyone know the UL number for the AC500 and B300s? They say they have the following certification: UL, CEC, DOE, FCC CA Prop 65, but I can't find this information anywhere. An inspector is hassling me to provide the UL info for the Bluetti system before he passes my transfer switch installation.

Awesome review! Keep em coming! I’ve already watched/listened to this many times on FB. Well done sir
This is the best explanation of the features I have seen. Thank you!
Thanks for your help on Facebook tonight, Jeff! Great vids!
Great objective data. Thx
You're objective!

Good review of the big thing. I think you made a good purchase with this beast.
Fantastic review! I really appreciated all of the fine details you covered.
Thanks for the great review much appreciated. I learned a lot.
Man this was a great review. I learned a lot.
Thank you so much for the detailed review!
Wonderful, thanks!
Thanks for this. This was very helpful

Can u do more videos on the ac500?
Does it give you the option to change the language? If so what does your ac500 let you change to?

GREAT REVIEW>....HOW bout AFTER SALES COSTUMER SERVICE.
It's 👍 great!
Inverter creates a cleaner waveform than the grid does.
It does! Pacific Gas and Electric makes pretty noisy power.
So I will blow my second run a 50 amp 240 volt kitchen stove oven that has a 50 amp breaker to it in the fuse box.
