In my last jester game, someone claimed spy, so i did the same, they started spytesting and i just said everything the real spy said. The next day he was dead so they hung me because they were convinced I was Bmer.
I think a good play you could have done was when you claimed witched at the start, claim vigilante from there and push that you should be hanged so witch can't control you. Easy way to get hanged and no one will suspect a jester if there's supposedly a witch. It may work and I'm very keen on trying it out for myself.
I tried that once. I said I was controlled into an immune target but that town had two escorts so I was just roleblocked every fucking night lmao. It's really not a bad strat though.

My fav Exe play is to say that you transed yourself and your target, and then say that you got an achievment for making someone attack themself. Doesn't always work, but is satisfying when it does

Then they lynched me the next day as an Executioner and nobody really went after the mafias. Well, Janitor died later on. To a Jester that mafia let win. my jester games consist of me attempting to hang random people. Most of the time it works got the jailer hanged with that strat its amazing how many people end up not paying attention to role claims.
I love playing Jester. I like how you have to play dumb enough to not get targeted at night while trying to look like mafia. I mean since Mafia likes keeping the dumber townies alive so they don't get lynched.

Shadow, a few days ago I played Town of Salem and got jester. I pretended to be investigator choosing random people in my will as bad roles. Then people started to say I was lying and they eventually hung me! So tbh I think claiming invest is good for jesters!
Eh. Depends who youre playing against really. In ranked its harder to get away with claiming Invest, as its a pretty typical claim, and roles get confirmed easier as people know what theyre doing... :/

Shadow, I need your advice. I was playing Ranked Practice and I was Mafia. 3 days pass and I see that a Vig is calling out our GF. I try to defend my GF by calling the Vig out of on Random Shooting. The Vig then decides to shoot me the next day. The next day the GF gets hanged. 3 days later, he dies to our last mafioso. In death chat I question his ethics on shooting a random person, which happened to be the GF. He said he "just knew". We go on and on until town wins. I know I really shouldn't of defended the GF, but people like this ruin the game. I and many others in the game reported him. What is your opinion on this situation and does reporting really do anything?
Well, as far as "impersonating a BMG employee" that's reportable haha. Assuming he wasn't cheating and genuinely random shooting, unfortunately there's nothing wrong with that as far as the rules go. Unfortunately in the game you happened to be in, he hit your GF, which is frustrating becasue in another game, he'll kill a townie and get punished, but no, you can't report for random shooting (as dumb as it might be).
Easyest way might be to just claim lookout and make your taget a maf/sk who you think is good to acuse and you accuse them becose as lookout you can see who viz who

I execute them if I know that they aren't AFK (like if they're talking up a storm in day chat then all of the sudden they're silent in jail). However, if someone has a default name (like Thomas Danforth did) and they haven't said a word all game, they could very easily be a townie who got disconnected at name select. It's happened enough times to me to make it a worry.

Actually, claiming Sheriff as Exe cán work, just don't do It day 2. It's a strategy I always use, and 99% of the time I put in my will that I saw 2 mafia members, or 1 maf and 1 sk/ww or something. That way they get hanged damn often, unless they're Ret or Trans. Oh, talking about that: I really think that Ret shouldn't be an Exe target anymore. They just won't get lynched since they're proven, and that sucks.
