I believe episode 65 took like 500 hours of work to finish it. it is animated better than the movie version too which is just insane. To this day, this is one of the best, if not THE best animated fight in the entire franchise.

yeah, to me boruto feels more like how kids nowadays feels like. They hear all the stories that their parents tell them about when they were kids and the children not believing their stories thinking it were fake and at the same time, the aspirations of children to become great like their parents, Boruto does a great work in exploring that aspect if you think about it.

I do think the characters are written really well in Boruto, better than most of the Naruto characters, at least the main ones. And Naruto had some of the best characters in any anime in my opinion

If you skip the fillers Boruto is actually an Amazing Anime and Naruto is my absolute favourite Anime of all times. Aside from the amazing fights its such an emotionally Story. I really recommend you watch it ! 😁

There was so much easter eggs/references to the OG and amazing parts of Shippuden during this fight. Nick should definitely watch Naruto on stream sometime.

The canon episodes aren't that bad. Some are mid but the main action of every arc has been good so far.
The thing about Boruto anime is that it always caught up with the manga and then they would have to make filler arcs to wait for more manga chapters. Some of the filler arcs are actually good unlike filler episodes/arcs in Naruto: Shippuden (They literally have fillers in-between the final arc which sucks). Because some filler arcs/content are somewhat related to the canon storyline such as Boruto's Jougan which is tied to the Naruto Shippuden final movie.
Then the Time-Travel arc (Boruto meets kid versions of Naruto characters), Hozuki Castle arc, Kara Introduction/Deepa Arc (Had one of the most epic fights), yep so far that's the filler arcs I know that are good and related to the canon storyline.

I like the amount of people hating on Boruto knowing full well they can simply skip the fillers. Most of these people haven't even watched the Manga-canon episodes let alone read the manga which is actually solid.
Boruto in my opinion has done well when it comes to animating and producing the manga-canon moments into the anime. A lot of people complain only about the filler/jump on the hate trend based off of someone elses opinions on the show, nothing is genuine as its easy to hate something you have no clue/your own reasoning to criticize it.
Don't diss on an unfinished story. That's all I can say.

NARUTO is like a textbook for me.
One thing I don't think people know/realize is literally the first 1 to like 70-75 episodes is just the Boruto movie recap with bits & pieces that they decided not to show in the movie, they put in the anime. Boruto is overall a good show, but to say they're nerfed people don't know what the hell they're talking about.

Naruto and attack on titans are my favorite animes and I've seen anime since 17 years ago, the thing with the fillers is that some of them are boring as shit and some other have a lot of development of character, specially for the side characters. Also I think people hates boruto because of varios reasons, 1, because he is not Naruto, 2, because he is sometimes annoying but to me he is just like his dad, he just grew up different because Boruto has everything Naruto didn't have, a family, a nice home, friends, respect from others, 3, Naruto 's series looks more traditional, while boruto's is more modern, they have technology like video games, movies, train, etc, but honestly I love boruto because of it, it's different, also I love their side characters and their fillers. XD

People hating on Boruto don't understand that this show is about a father of greatness wants his son to be better than him. It's like real life where a parent want his child to be better than him. Episode like this is proud moment for Naruto.

That has nothing to do with why people don't like boruto. It's the excessive power escalation and the fanfic feeling. They all look like OC made by fans with the most absurd combination of callbacks to the original show in an attempt to make the coolest character ever which end up making it feel inspired. They could have come up with interesting stuff to add to the existing world but they went with the "let's give this character this other thing that another character used" route which feels like they're just trying to sell figurines by using nostalgia of older fans.

As someone who has watched naruto since I was 8 and watched almost all the boruto episodes. This is one of the few good episodes in Boruto just because Naruto fought along sasuke and had a moment with his son. They add a lot of filler in Boruto and put the focus on a lot of new characters which is Boruto's classmates. They changed a lot that made me fall in love with the original Naruto that made me not want to continue watching the new Boruto story.

Boruto is the 2nd highest making anime behind Naruto, so while it's a failure of an adaptation to the manga, it makes more money than every single anime other than naruto.
