Mandisa’s songs Overcomer and Stronger were some of the songs that helped me go through the challenges of my life then. Since then, I have been extremely blessed by her music. Hearing about her passing shocked me and brought tears to my eyes, but at the same time I’m happy that she received Jesus as her Lord and Savior in her lifetime so she’s saved 🥹♥️🙏🏽
Is just proves that Christians who struggle with mental health issues isn't of weak faith or we don't pray enough its because we are human and a lot of the time can be used for Gods plans and work

In my past, I've struggled with depression and it was really, really rough and thought I wouldn't come out of it but by the grace of God I did so I thank him so much for that. Just remember no matter what you're going through you're not alone and that you are an overcomer! God is good!! and God gets the glory!!🙏🙏🌹🌹🌈🌈🕊️🕊️💒💒

Thank you so much for sharing this. I believe for those who listen to this wont be ashamed anymore . Depression doesn’t Necessarily mean weakness it’s just another tool that God gives you to force you to call out to him. Call out to God in Everything I he will always show you the Way. But I have to remember his way is not necessary my way. Amen
I sometimes feel like there's so much wrong with me I wouldn't know where to start if I were to seek professional help. Was once diagnosed with Borderline personality disorder. I get overcome by feelings of dread, anxiety, hopelessness. I feel too wrong to even be completely healed by God. Confusion, procrastination, dread, sadness, no meaningful relationships. Anyone who is reading this, please keep me in your prayers.
God hears you... tell him exactly what you need him to do in your life 💕

I guess all of us have struggles to test our faith for the LORD. It is so easy to give up but we must remind ourselves that HE is the only one who will always listen and be there for you.

We all have battles to fight. It takes Jesus to get us through them. Trust Jesus he will get you through them if you put your trust in him.

Amy I don't think it is important to fixate on the juicy bits of gossip/ content of someones pain to know that there is pain, and it is real. I think the point is the love of Jesus and community is healing. This is what our savior died for. Humanity to be healed, not mocked and judged. Any time there is depression, something is out of wack in our lives we only share details with safe people such as a counselor. I appreciate her for bringing this topic to the light, as it can be so isolating. Matthew 22:36-40

And Mandesa, I do love your music but come walk in someone's shoes who doesn't have it the way you do. Live what you sing. I am a overcomer. I am unfinished. But I will never be whole. God let the one thing in my life that made me somewhat whole die. My kayla. Forever 23. Not a friend, my child. And right before that my mom. 6 months apart.
Where is the compassion when our kids are killed. Where is the compassion when you lose your mom and your daughter in the same yr. Then all your family turns from you and blames you for your child's death? Where is he when your husband beats you for frustrating him.
God is with us even when we don’t feel Him, He love you He loves us. He does , in spite of our pain and struggles . People have choices and sometimes they use they choices to inflict pain and hurt on other people , that is not from God. God is good, He hurts when we hurt. No matter what we are facing when we turn to God and totally trust Him He will comfort you. I can’t imagine what you are going through, but I know God is compassionate and that Jesus Christ love you and care for you. He does. He has not forgotten you .

Life can be terribly hard, Satan walks among us creating a lot of havoc and pain, he has come to steal kill and destroy. You are his target right now, don't you let him destroy you. get in the word. pick up your bible and open it, he has to flee. God is with you. I was not a bible reading person. but this has helped me in similar circumstances. Sometimes I slept with the bible on my chest. God was with me he never left me, he hasn't left you either. There is spiritual warfare on you- reach out to Jesus - you are going to be an overcomer. I am so sorry for all you have had to go thru.
I will be praying for you as I cannot imagine what you are going through. I can tell you I am in a season of grief and feel so lost due to the death of my father. I can tell you that if I didn't have my relationship with Christ, I would never make it through. It is okay to feel hurt, be angry, grieve, yell, scream and question why and God has not problem with us being that way. However, HE is with us through it all and no matter what choices we make to put us in horrible circumstances in relationships (been there as well), we have to learn the blessing of God's mercy and forgiveness and we also have to learn that in forgiveness, we are able to draw truly close to Him. It is certainly not something that you can get through overnight but I encourage you to truly seek God and pray for healing, strength and know HE IS WANTING YOU TO DRAW CLOSE TO HIM. An EXCELLENT book I would recommend is "Do Yourself a Favor...Forgive" by Joyce Meyer. My prayers are with you.
