We all know why Bret was brought in in 2010. And on that specific night. Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair made their debuts in TNA on that very same night. Bret wasn't even mentioned on screen until after Hogan's TNA debut was announced in November. They simply needed something bombastic to counter and had to come up with something quickly. And it worked.
Plus I think his debut entrance was a bit of a let down… his seemed one of those moments where the lights needed to go out (AEW style) and he should have just been stood in the ring, not have his entrance music play and have his face and the words STING up on the wall before he came out.. but saying that I guess Michael Cole couldn’t do his traditional “Could it be??!! I doubt we're seeing Nathan Jones grace the squared circle to thank Undertaker for getting him out of prison again.
thanks!
Some more/other moments I’d thought would never go down; that did are:
Edge returns
Paul Heyman/Vince/Bischoff all under one roof
The Hardyz return
Flair returns
Rey Mysterio wins heavyweight
Goldberg gets another run with the wwe belt
Daniel Bryant return
New Age Outlaws win tag belts years after being gone from wwe
Austin wrestles KO
Rowdy Roddy Piper returns in 2001/2-ish era
Jon moxley. Never say never.
Never say never in Wwe... unless its about someone along the tune of Crisp-pen-wah
What Jeff Jarrett getting into the Hall of Fame and then working WWE afterwards?
never = best promotional tool ever
the one that was not mentioned surprised me the most was the return of the American nightmare Cody Rhodes is aew character
If this list was made today CM Punk returning to WWE would have to be one of the top picks
Well sting was in wwe 2k15 months before his debut, so i'd say it was foreshadowed heavily
I could be remembering wrong but I thought I heard rumors of Sting being backstage at Survivor Series before the event started but it's been so long maybe I'm mistaken.
I'll just sit here and wait for the remake of this vid when Jericho returns to the WWE/is inducted to the HoF.
Bret and Vince actualy made peace with each other as early as 2005, after which Bret was inducted into HOF.
It's pretty ironic that Triple H campaign for Ultimate Warrior to come back when that's the exact same guy that squashed him in his very first match as Hunter Hearst Helmsley
I love Eric Bischoff. I love Bret Hart. and I love sting a lot. I also love Daniel Bryan. and I love stone cold Steve Austin
fantastic
Next "never say never" wwe wrestlers you thought would never leave wwe but did.
Hogan
Bret
Jericho
Hardys(?)
Big show
Mark Henry definitely up there
Some WWE Debuts that happened are never say never.
good video
How about do the top 10 most underrated wrestlers on the planet or in wwe or AEW
How about top 10 most underrated royal rumble returns and also performances
Sting should've never joined WWE in begin with
Randy savage returning in 2011 before his tragic passing would have been a good 11th
Scott in the WWE HOF should be number 1🤣😂
So we might still get Undertaker vs Sting.
If sting decides to come back to WWE on this one match term then it will get booked probably at Saudi
@@ananyaraizada7657 Or if 'taker goes to NJPW again.
@@Djarra he is in a lifetime contract so he can't bail out of it
Rank every iwgp heavyweight & intercontinental champions
Eric Biscoff
Honestly 2k14 was possibly the best WWE 2k game.
How about an actual Never Gonna Happen list? :
The Montreal Screwjob being conclusively proven to be a work.
Chris Benoit gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame
Shane McMahon throws a realistic punch.
...... And so on.
Think Bret should have been 1 and Sting 2. Never cared for Goldberg. Eric was something I thought never see. Austin can carry on being the new Leader of locker room.
Money heals all ❤
Honestly, if you give "Mr. Royal Rumble" Steve Austin one more match - make it the Royal Rumble.
Except Randy Savage
Surprised Christains returned is not on here
For me, the number 1 ‘never say never’ moment isn’t in this list. It’s Benoit appearing on the Network. After years of scrubbing his matches from every and any release, the unedited shows including his career appear in the network. Yes, they say things like “HHH in action” rather than “HHH v Benoit”, but they’re on there all the same.
There'd been no official indication Sting was on the way? Everyone knew. We'd seen stuff for the game featuring Sting, before Sting debuted. He was clearly coming.
Wwe opening the forbidden door should be on this list
I actually didn’t find it that big of deal that Daniel came back lmao
The only "never" in WWE seems to be actually building any talent...
Wow. Such a cool comment
“Fed bad”
@@Bobo_chimp yes but none of them are built to even be anywhere near a credible threat to roman. Theyre not building any top guys now. Everyone just floats around the midcard
@@Bobo_chimp riddle was already big on the indie scene and he was also a known UFC fighter. The others are fair.
@@Bobo_chimp Also Damien Priest was the former Punishment Martinez in Ring Of Honour when they were doing good numbers so he also was not a WWE talent.
How was Cody not on this list?
