The answer to your question of how bad Herta is at cooking? I think it's more of a case of how lazy she is over how bad she is and she tends to destroy her kitchen by farting around with Curios that shouldn't be cooked like that? So no I think Herta is good at cooking if she isn't farting around with things she shouldn't be using as ingredients or cooking utensils.
