Hello Oliver I'm 'fullspectrum" on RCgroups and on your 3d printed plane thread there, so far I've printed the Sabre 2 and I'm printing the Scimitar 2 currently. The mini Scimitar looks incredible as well! Excellent work and I I'm loving the beautiful scenery and editing in this video!🍺🍺👍👍👌👌
Another work of art to be printed this week 😃 What is the most efficient (quietest) motor/prop combo for the Scimitar (not mini) for cursing long waypoints? What is the cheapest small flight controller that would run Ardupilot? My models are shells for display as you know, but I like to make one fly. Unfortunately, although I have a private pilot's license, I can't fly RC planes without crashing them.
Part 3 of the wing, is very heavy in my printed part, i dont know what i must be doing wrong, assuming that according to what the excel says it weighs 19 gr, mine is weighning close to 50gr. Pla is lw
Hello, thank you very much for your work, it is really very cool) I have one question, what is the best way to fix the "wing lock" inside the wing? Just glue or screws?
That is another beautiful fixed wing you designed! I have completely wrecked my previous printed plane this morning by launching it poorly, so your new design comes in very handy. The original scimitar worked good for me, so I am looking forward to see how this one flies. Thanks!
@@derelictfpv The only parts won't fit on the plate are the aileron (fits when printed horizontally) and wing 2. Maybe @Olivier-C has some clever idea on splitting these in two parts 🤔
@@themastercoder You can split those ailerons and wings in 2 parts yourself in the slicer if you want. Just glue them together! The ailerons are quite tall to be printed in one go anyway in my opinion.

Этот самолет, что печатаешь сейчас, ты разобьешь 3 раза. У него сильный реактивный момент и самолет закручивает

Hi, Between wing lock and wing 2, just few drops of CA are enough
@@Olivier-C Thanks)

Excellent video & lovely designed Wings - did you settle on a best C of G for the Scimitar & the Mini ?
hi where is the cg on the SCIMITAR Mini just printed one but cant see where the cg is thanks
Do you do 3D design for a living? Watching you work on the design of your planes makes my head spin. I feel like an amateur.
Learning by doing i think
Hello, i printed the mini version. Can you say the setup. Motor, Esc, Prop, Servo.
mine has the same setup as my normal scimitar, 2306 2400kV, 6S, 4S 1500mAh lipo
@Olivier-C the wing lock are glued in in the wings?
@@thorstenbonnesen1021 yes !
Hi Oliver, I see you are now using a Bambu Lab printer. What settings are you using.
its basically the factory settings for Esun PLA+, didn't change much
Do you think it is possible to modify the project to allow printing on the A1 mini?
You can scale it down but I'm not sure how a plane smaller than this will fly?

Thank you for having English caption on your video.
Yes! Thank you as well Oliver!🍻🍻
salut, tu recommandes quelle batterie/moteur pour cette version? la meme chose que pour le classique?
@@u_fpv salut, 4S entre 1200 et 1500mAh
@@Olivier-C d'accord, merci beaucoup
