Having experienced a strong dirty socks smell coming from Pack 1 with either engine bleed or APU bleed a month ago, it's really interesting to see how engineers troubleshoot our reports. Thanks for uploading!
Man, congrats! All videos are amazing! I’m airbus pilot in a big Arline in South America and I appreciate your videos. But the main point is: I’ve learned many things about maintenance from you ! Keep going! Your channel is of one the best of RUclips! Hugs
Thank you Thomas your explanations are always very good even to us non Aircraft engineers i envy your job must be very happy to go to work each day Cheers kym Adelaide
What’s not mentioned is that it’s not just an unpleasant smell when oil gets in the bleed duct. It’s an extremely toxic vaporized oil the gets mixed into the air you’re breathing.
Could you maybe tell me which of the Austrian A320/A321 are running on EIS1 or EIS2 and what Weather Radar and COM Panels the NEOS are equipped with or is that confidential information of Austrian? I am interested in that, cause I would need that information for Liveries in the new Flight Simulator.
Hi Thomas, thank you for showing this task. I have a question regarding the video. Are you allowed to leave the flight deck with the APU running? Is the APU extinguish button at the nose gear sufficient enough for emergencys? Thank you in advance!!!
I feel like there are ALWAYS APU's running all over the airport at any given time, during crew changes, maintenance, just sitting waiting for boarding, etc. It's very common without someone on the flight deck. I BELIEVE (on the Airbus aircraft anyways) that there is an APU fire indicator and shutdown/fire bottle switch in the nose gear well area? Maybe even a horn or something? But yeah, ground crew would have easy access to shut it down if anything happened.
Nice point, let me explain. A320 on the ground and in the air has auto-shutdown protection controlled by a computer. On the ground, we have also an auto extinguish function which in case of fire releases agentin in APU compartment and it is, controlled by a computer
Waaaaait... so with that check valve tool, could you theoretically use the APU / plane to ground start another plane? Like, if zombies were coming and you couldn't find a huffer or something lol.

That can be a more serious issue. It is impo5for us to get the smell report and all properly filed
I like to listen to people who love their job ! It's like they're giving all the info from the bottom of their heart. 💪🏻
I love my work and I hope it is visible 🙂
I appreciate your efforts on these videos 🙏
Very nice 👍
It's my pleasure
You make a grate job! Your videos help me a lot as a fitter. Keep doing it. Greetins from Polnad.
Glad to hear that. Thank you for support 🙂
Thanks Thomas.............so interesting, you are a smart guy, thanks to Martin as
well.................look forward to your vids
Glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully it will be able to show you more 🙂
It's the first time i see this process and you explain it very well.
Thank you for this new video
My pleasure. 🙂

Wow, thank you 🙂. I was hoping that it would give people a bit of an overview. Thank you again, I'm glad you enjoying my content
Great video as Always Zeto one of the best youtube channel
Thank you. I'm glad you like my content
Thanks, Thomas. Very informative and so interesting. Loving these Videos thanks for taking the time to do them.
Glad you like them! 🙂

I'm trying my best 🙂. If you like stressful environment, nightshift and a lot of work you will love it 😁
Stig and Zeto should do a video together
We have some of them on Instagram
Love learning about aviation maintenance, it makes me feel safer flying . As a marine mechanic I often worry.
We are trying our best to keep our passengers safe 🙂

But first, it needs to get in the packs. If not this is enough otherwise you must perform decontamination of packs as well
Good job
Thank you🙂
thanks for your efforts and we are waiting for video for wind shield removal installation for 320 or b 737-800 thanks

One day maybe 🙂
Good information...
Thank you
Thanks
With pleasure
Hello, do the mechanics take fuel samples for labs or does someone else do that?
Yes we are doing that quite regularly
I am surprised you guys dont run external power during apu tests or checks. I was trained on military hardware so stuff like this is very different.
Hello yes, we always use GPU, it is cheaper. Just we switched it off during work outside of aircraft

Thank you, Tomash ! Nice presentation again! 🫡✈️🧑🔧
Thank you ☺️
Is it possible to "jumpstart" another airplane with a bleedair-connection, if there's no ASU available?
There is no such procedure but if you trick APU by pooling one cb to produce 42psi, I guess it can be done
Thank you for the video. What type of plane is it please?
All my videos are about A32F
A320
The whole family

What CB did you pull before the APU fire test?
Auto fire extinguisher
@@zeto.r ah, and that's not inhibited during the test? yikes
There is always a chance that something will not work as it should, better safe than sorry
@@zeto.r now I'll be paranoid next time I do the APU fire test lol, I don't even think that CB is accesible from the flight deck in the jet I fly
Just follow the AMM or if you are a pilot follow the company process and you will be just fine 🙂
May I know the brand and type of headlamp you are using?
ruclips.net/video/a_9F5lDHh0A/видео.html This is video about it
Waaaaait... so with that check valve tool, could you theoretically use the APU / plane to ground start another plane? Like, if zombies were coming and you couldn't find a huffer or something lol.
Most probably yes, you should pull one c/b to trick APU and create higher pressure and then it will be possible
@@zeto.rwhat C/B? and why?
CPC one of them and APU will lose info about required pressure so it will go full power
👍
Thank you
❤
🙂
👌
🙂
MAINTENANCE IS COMPLEX .
A bit yes 🙂
Someone poo'd in the air ducts again...
Not today 😁
Can you tell me your salary, brother?😊😊
Nope 🙂
