I just noticed how asymmetrical Rosie's eyes are and that gave me a huge relief because she looks absolutely stunning, and ever since I've noticed how one half of my face is quite noticeably different from the other I've felt so unattractive and self-conscious but thanks to this close-up video I realised even angels can have asymmetrical faces and still look divine and beautiful. I won't be ashamed of my face anymore

Actually, very symmertical faces are less interesting and more forgettable, so a little asymmetry is good ;)

I really commend Rosie for coming on camera without any makeup on. I'm sure she experiences a lot of public scrutiny, and that's often accompanied by ridiculous criticism. Kudos to Rosie for loving her bare-faced and her made-up selves equally.

God lisa is such an artist my gosh! She doesn't apply makeup she literally just feathers it on if that makes any sense lol. I love how everyone just looks like they've just been polished lol no one looks like another person.

Exactly! The problem with the "Instagram look" is the fact that it's really just variations and hybrids of kim kardashian and drag queens' makeup. Both who go to that extent because of the amount of lights that are projected on them for filming or performing and it doesn't translate well in real life. Lisa is no doubt an artist for a million reasons and for her experience but what I love the most is the fact that women leave looking like the most gorgeous version of THEMSELVES not another person.

I love how sophisticated they both are in this video. Their voices are so soft, they're almost whispering, they're not laughing loudly or goofing around. There's not even music playing in the background. I do watch and enjoy a lot of those vivid and fun videos too here on RUclips, but watching this is just so, so calming. It's rare.

This is the real makeup look....so natural and flawless...no harsh contouring or highlighting or pink blushes...no loads of concealer on ur fce which I hate....just ur natural skin but slightly better. I loved the simple eye look...I follow this myself. This kind of tutorials just shows how natural makeup should be in real....Loved it

Some people need more make up than others, some ocasions require more make up than others...When someone spends like 2 hours on their make up they don't want it to look natural lol.Make up is about creativity too, isn't always about making you look cute, is about art and expressing yourself through it.

When Rosie cheekily said to Lisa, "Let me show you how it's done!", and then proceeded to do her brows - I giggled a little! She's gorgeous. The way she talks about make up, what she likes, what she thinks suits her - if you didn't have an inkling for Rosie before, you totally would after such a video.

the way Lisa applies makeup, it reminds me that there's an actual art to it: you can try and learn everything about it, but at the end of the day it's your inner eye that matters
I find both you and Rosie's voices so soothing that sometimes when I can't sleep at night I pull up this video and it helps me calm down relax. I've probably watched this video twenty times because I absolutely love both of you.

Yes! Especially cystic acne (very large red lumps), the techniques in her existing spots video didn't really work for those sadly, because the areas needing concealing are so big and red and raised
She did a video a long time ago for acne covering just search Lisa Eldridge Acne cover and it's the young girl with long blond hair.
+Amy 1-2-3 foundation doesn't help with texture issues.
+Amy 1-2-3 Honestly, I'm not sure if there's anything left to do aside from wearing a full coverage foundation everywhere. Her technique was, indeed, geared towards people with mostly clear skin. I guess you could use that same Vichy Dermablend foundation all over, make sure you blend it really well with a beauty blender, always prime prior to foundation if you feel it's getting cakey, use a very finely milled powder and maybe use a setting spray. The key is to get the most pigmented products within the thinnest textures. Thats what I would do anyway.
the only "beauty guru" i fuck with is Lisa. The rest are just youtubers who like to paint there faces not knowing nothing about shape nor colour. Before I discovered Lisa. I use to watch carli,missroshposh and e.t.c they all paint there faces to the point where they just look unatural and harsh. My makeup skills have upgrades since I started watching Lisas videos. So thank you for that Lisa.

This video (and basically all other Lisa Eldridge videos) is just soooo relaxing. There is something about this that just puts me in a trance listening to Lisa and Rosie both talk with their soft voices, while Lisa applies such natural and pretty makeup.

Everything about this video is so lovely. I hope this approach to makeup is coming back in style--not a mask of concealer & foundation beneath a mask of contouring, but makeup that allows a woman's unique & beautiful face and features to shine thru. Great job, & Rosie is a real bee-charmer.

A good skin is the canvas which brings out the best in any makeup look. Rosie has one of the best skins and that adds up to her beauty as well. Amazing tutorial Lisa, you are one of the few Best and my all time favorite.
