I just noticed how asymmetrical Rosie's eyes are and that gave me a huge relief because she looks absolutely stunning, and ever since I've noticed how one half of my face is quite noticeably different from the other I've felt so unattractive and self-conscious but thanks to this close-up video I realised even angels can have asymmetrical faces and still look divine and beautiful. I won't be ashamed of my face anymore

Exactly! The problem with the "Instagram look" is the fact that it's really just variations and hybrids of kim kardashian and drag queens' makeup. Both who go to that extent because of the amount of lights that are projected on them for filming or performing and it doesn't translate well in real life. Lisa is no doubt an artist for a million reasons and for her experience but what I love the most is the fact that women leave looking like the most gorgeous version of THEMSELVES not another person.

You are incomparable to some of these beauty vloggers that cake on so much makeup. I could never imagine Lisa Eldridge "baking". I believe makeup should enhance your natural beauty, not completely change your appearance. You are such an artist.
This is the real makeup look....so natural and flawless...no harsh contouring or highlighting or pink blushes...no loads of concealer on ur fce which I hate....just ur natural skin but slightly better. I loved the simple eye look...I follow this myself. This kind of tutorials just shows how natural makeup should be in real....Loved it

Yes! Especially cystic acne (very large red lumps), the techniques in her existing spots video didn't really work for those sadly, because the areas needing concealing are so big and red and raised
+Amy 1-2-3 Honestly, I'm not sure if there's anything left to do aside from wearing a full coverage foundation everywhere. Her technique was, indeed, geared towards people with mostly clear skin. I guess you could use that same Vichy Dermablend foundation all over, make sure you blend it really well with a beauty blender, always prime prior to foundation if you feel it's getting cakey, use a very finely milled powder and maybe use a setting spray. The key is to get the most pigmented products within the thinnest textures. Thats what I would do anyway.

Yes! Especially cystic acne (very large red lumps), the techniques in her existing spots video didn't really work for those sadly, because the areas needing concealing are so big and red and raised

+Amy 1-2-3 Honestly, I'm not sure if there's anything left to do aside from wearing a full coverage foundation everywhere. Her technique was, indeed, geared towards people with mostly clear skin. I guess you could use that same Vichy Dermablend foundation all over, make sure you blend it really well with a beauty blender, always prime prior to foundation if you feel it's getting cakey, use a very finely milled powder and maybe use a setting spray. The key is to get the most pigmented products within the thinnest textures. Thats what I would do anyway.
