There is no relationship or love outside of God since we like to mention him so much. Last I checked his way has always been better than our and that’s why he steps back and let you have it your way and see how that turns out. Jeremiah 17:9 states, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?". God doesn’t honor anything outside of marriage. So if it gets to the point their not treating you the way you feel they supposed to. But he will catch our tears in a bottle while still saying my laws stand no matter what and I can’t change them for you and if I did I wouldn’t be God. But accepting that person for who they are, and meet in the middle. Most of all continue to pray for each other sincerely.
