It can be difficult to differentiate adenoma from pheochromocytoma, as they can have similar CT washout characteristics, but pheochromoctyoma will almost never contain intravoxel fat, and therefore shouldn't show dropout on an opposed-phase T1 weighted image (unlike lipid-rich adenomas).
