How to Tame a Parasaur

- In this video you will learn how to tame a parasaur in Ark: Survival Evolved. Parasaurs (Parasaurolophus) are a relatively fast herbivore that make great starter mounts when you are getting started. This tutorial will show you how to tame one with no equipment other than your bare hands!
As a man or woman stranded naked, freezing and starving on the shores of a mysterious island called ARK, use your skill and cunning to kill or tame & ride the leviathan dinosaurs and other primeval creatures roaming the land. Hunt, harvest resources, craft items, grow crops, research technologies, and build shelters to withstand the elements, while teaming up with or preying upon hundreds of other players to survive, dominate... and escape!

thx so much this is the first vid on this topic that worked. I couldn't figure out why just putting the narkow berries in the parrasaurs inventory wasn't working, but now I have my own tamed and saddled parrasaur.😃

I got lucky and got a nice blue parasure and I called it Rita
Don’t feel bad I had a whole army of Dino’s die because they glitched out and got stuck inside a bronto .... only 6 1/2 hours of taming 🤦♂️🤷♂️

For me, I'm brand new to the game, although knowing all about it for a few years now, but so you think I could get the damn mejoberries to work? NOPE! Every time I put them in the parasaur's inventory while she was "sleeping off the headache I gave her", her taming would stall....every time. The ONLY berry that worked (aside from the narco berries) was the Stimberries or however its spelled. The white berries, anyways. I dont understand what I'm doing wrong but at least it works.

I have a question I have a level 20 parasaur and I have put narco berrys and the purple berries and the taming is still on 0%
Great video man, I like how you explain everything so that the people who watch this video can understand everything fully. The only suggestion I have is to show the hold e menu instead/along with hotkeys. Keep up the good work!

Not too high, I was in the mid 20s for this video, but I've done this strategy at level 10.
We can also use a bola.

In single player, I saw a tek parasaur, so I decided to bola it and shoot it in the head with my slingshot. It somehow fucking died.
Also, the part about weapons killing it is untrue. "Torpor" weapons, like slingshots, clubs, and bows loaded with tranq arrows, can also KO a dino.
Parasaurs are actually really useful. One time a dilophosaurus attacked me and my parasaur attacked the dilo, and chased it up a cliff. A few seconds later I got a notification saying “Your parasaur killed a dilophosaurus!”
You can hear the moment his soul left his body.. UselessPhil was so sad that day.. XD

Use club to knock it out faster.

I put the narco and mejo berries in the dinos inventory, but nothing happens. It never tames it. Tame meter dont budge. What am i doing wrong ?

Instead of using your fists to knock it out, use a club if you dont got tranq arrows. A club wont kill it
I killed it... it was level 33 and was made out of metal. And blue.
The metal one better than the normal and what should I use to knock it out? It's a lvl one and I hit about 10 times
You can also use the Bala as it will take less time to capture it. It will stay still and you can punch it till it’s knocked Out

you can use a wooden club and bola you can get a bola at level 9 and wooden club at 7/8

Diamonddog103 You have to click on the narcoverries and then click remote use item in the parasaur's inventory. it won't eat them on its own you have to force them in one at a time.

My old friends is Parasurs before them die by a Carno attack 8 months ago... My just Felixx still alive and now Im no more a noob. I mean Spino is a basic creature for me, but when you have a half-metal base you never getting scare by Spinos or Rexes. I'll miss u ma parasurs...

You don't need to remote feed anymore, just put the berries in the inventory and it does it automatically
