Ben Roberts Nope, it was 98 exclusive. By Windows 2000, Microsoft had switched to DirectX, and the maze was an openGl thing.Though there are a lot of reproductions of it running around online that work with DirectX.
Dracknorin So that's why there's this ghostly "OpenGL" text scattered around the maze… Does your explanation mean that Windows 2000 onwards…isn't compatible with OpenGL anymore?
Ben Roberts Not exactly, a lot of programs use it. But the main one used by windows is DirectX. That's why so many games make you update your directx drivers, as opposed to anything else.
Same here I used to set up all night and watch this I also remember we had 2 computers with win 98 on them so I would sometimes make them both race and see witch one was faster

It always follows the left-side wall. When it turns upside down, it follows the right side wall (which is the same as the original left-side wall). this is beautiful. Never realized Windows 98 had it all figured out. This labyrinth is what we call life.
