The spots they race are super dark so they give your crew guy a blue led flash light to turn on when you are ready usually they are told “once it’s at x amount of boost turn the light on*

Petey, how is it that you are born and raised on the east coast and you don't have that thick accent or the attitude that most have out there?? I used to haul livestock and would deliver in Maryland, NY and sometimes PA.. I did it for several years but got tired of the traffic and rude people.. I will never understand how people can live like that..

Is the dudes who have the UV flashlights flashing the starter really necessary?? They're the same guys who stand by the window and when the car gets on the chip they tell the flagger that everyone is ready to go.. it's unnecessary and the flagger could care less about them.. you are either ready when the light comes on or you're getting left on..
The blue lights are the indicator to the flagger that you are ready. Helps make it cut and dry and easier to see vs a thumbs up like a lot of other areas do.
Also makes it easy with 30 other lights in a crowd of cell phone cameras
