BJP wants Congress alive but weak.
That's why Gandhis are still running Congress.
Politicians never send each other to jail - atleast for a seriously long term.
No brother it send the wrong message when a opposition leader is jailed without

No outsider is needed to wipe out the Congress from the political ground...it's own leaders are enough. No one understands the reality and refuse to accept the party's status. To me PK was the only hope to revive and rejuvinate the party and now it's all over...very sad.
Accepting PK would involve cntrl+delete Gandhi family interference.

Nothing went wrong......After meetings with them, Kishor must have realised that he would be flogging a dead horse! No "strategy" could help a leaderless, rudderless party stuck in a time warp. Also, Kishor's experience till date has been at regional levels. At national level any strategy would have to be against a behemoth like BJP and a leader like Narendra Modi; and a rising AAP! Guaranteed loss, and he couldn't afford to damage his "successful strategist" reputation, could he, now?!

so long as gandhis are at the helm, congress cant be revived.... I mean , look at the average age of India, its so young (28 yrs). And every young person in our country is competing in some form or the other to earn a living or to get a seat to study( iit jee, neet, csir , cat etc...). And when these young people see gandhis and their sense of entitlement on one hand and Modi- Shah-yogi on the other hand, .... its done deal for BJP. also the young see that the congress has not done its duty as expected of an opposition. it appears that its still sulking like a spoiled brat ... instead of cutting of the flab,to become a lean election machine
PK has learnt the organisational skills from BJP and now implementing in other parties...

PK's brand of strategy is at odds with the Congress and Gandhis' way of functioning - it involves a small detail called democracy and transparency. There is only one place for the Cong and that is in a coffin. RIP !

You may have learnt journalism from him but I am being a very senior citizen following him since long. These days he has changed completely and talks illogical and has also become seriously biased. Was really hoping that Congress will reinvent itself, India needs a strong opposition. This also tells a lot about Gandhis, they are unable do what’s good for the country, one needs to show their patriotism at the time of need. We expect our soldiers to sacrifice their life, but politicians cant do this much? Look at Ukraine, the president is in the capital putting his life on the line for his country, Gandhis would have left India at the first sign of trouble.

1. No one in right frame of mind would hand over party to PK. He tried in JDU and then in TMC but failed. It is creditable for him that he could almost got Congress in his pocket. Forget G 23 but Rahul boys would oppose this joker. 2. Like Siddhu, having PK in Congress, would have been another disaster. 3. We all feel that Congress must do well and beat Modi. But AAP can replace Congress, if not by 2024 but surely by 2029 and regional parties from non Hindi belt can take on Modi in each state. So forget 2024 but 2029 could be a hope! 3. Gandhis own Congress. So Rahul must take over full control, retire Sonia, ease out all oldies, take in his team and re build Congress. He may not succeed even in 2029 but 2034 is doable. He is young and he has time on his side. Modi will not be certainly around after 2029. 4. Modi is seen as a serious, dedicated, non corrupt leader by all. It will be difficult now for any one to challenge him. Modi Govt is doing well as a Govt and is focused on governance an development. No voter can ignore him and bring in a change unless there are strong reasons. Who will do better than Modi and how? This is an elementary question which a voter will ask and answer while voting.

PK should help opposition to sink this sinking ship. The old guards will not allow the party to revive and change.
PK’s goal is to inject himself into leadership of national politics using Congress as a vehicle. He tried the same with each regional clients he worked. He started by becoming a VP in JD(U) of Nitish Kumar. So he is bargaining for a secure and high profile national leadership role in Congress. He has no national or Indian’s interest in mind. Greed can take him so far and I am sure PK has run his course, its all down hill and Karma catching up. His KARMA can’t remain uneffected by the Bengalis murder by TMC, post last state election.

PK wants to penetrate the Congress's highest power levels, create a rift, ease Gandhis out of the Congress, and bring TMC, TRS, NCP, and YSR Congress into the Congress fold by 2029. He is doing all this, hoping that he can become PM in 2029. It is fascinating to watch Congress's next move.
