Awesome content again. We’ve found jigging for Kingfish to be very successful. Bigger the jig used, bigger the fish. We’re using jigs about a foot long. Hard work for us ol fellas. 👍👍
Another lovely vid guys, Jigs are not my thing, but caught heaps of reds on hole smaller ockys but trim the longer tentickalls off and hook once through top of body
Pelagic pursuit does a lot of slow pitch as well mate, and micksgonefishing these guys are where i got all my info from dont be frightened to ask either of those guys Qs.
Looks like you guys had an excellent day out So what ended up being the break down of it? Looked like it was pretty even, I just wonder how much more physical effort is in Jigging and what is the take like compared to Bait? Cheers Garry
Pretty even really but if you are on fish that are on the chew the jigs win every time. They also drop faster than a ten ball with a bait so you often pick up the first fish. Thanks for watching Mate.
is that fully the truth, I had to laugh in one of the Videos your skippering and you mentioned about Snez being all loaded up ready to drop. Some would say that is cheating but then the girls don't see it that way do they HAHAHAHAHAHAfirst one to the bottom on the new spot often gets slammed don't they and its very rarely the skipper that can get back there quick enough. She actually looked to me like a Shark on a coil spring ready for action@@OBM1770
Hello, I’m new to your channel! What make and model is your vessel? I see your running duel Yamaha 130’s also. It looks like it handles really nice and smooth. Great video and I subscribed lol.
She is a “Noosa Cat” 2400. The 130’s are a perfect match for weight and fuel usage in my opinion. Thank you for subscribing. We appreciate your support.!
Both mate, just depends on the run and if they are on the chew. If they are biting and we find a spot holding fish we will anchor. If looking for new ground we often drift taking pot shots on shows on sounder. Thanks for the feedback mate, appreciated 👍
Thanks mate much appreciated lots to learn when we move from tassie to Gladstone but I can't wait. Keep the episodes coming so I can keep learning 😀😀 cheers legends tight lines

Same cracking fish there guys

Awesome vid guys, it looked like a tie between bait and jigs. When you have fishing spots like you have, your bound to get awesome fish.
Thank you, appreciated. It was pretty even. Keen to give it another go!

epic!, soo cool guys.

Love your channel from around the corner at Turkey Beach, one question, why do you cut the gills after the kill spike? is it to bleed the fish?
Thankyou! Yes definitely, most effective way to bleed that I’ve found 👍
Looks like you guys had an excellent day out

G'day mate random question do you drift with fishing or anchor up on marks? Awesome channel 👏 can't wait to get up there

hi, what size and model rod and reel are you using for the slow pitch jigging?
Ocea Jigger 2000hg on a Shimano type J, 6’00” PE 5. Could go lighter mate. My next will be the 1500hg on a type J, PE 3. 👍
What is the jigging combo you are using?
Ocea jigger 2000 hg on a Game Type J PE 5 all Shimano 👍
May I ask a question, where do you by these flashers?
The best on the market are here mate:
suncoastskutes.com/collections/flashers
I prefer bait, there's enough plastic in the fish
