I've got a 2018 V7 I got this year, and I love it. For anyone thinking about one, go take a look in person. Real unique, high quality bikes. Seeing it in person you'll notice the difference from Japanese bikes. He's also riding this fairly slow for reference. Mine has an exhaust/tune and it's so much fun. Kinda like a muscle car in bike form. If you run the revs up and shift through the gears, it's really a little rocket...
Love the air cooled V2 engine of the V7. Sounds sweet and you're not immediately illegally fast when you pull on the throttle. I got mine with a Mistral exhaust and stripped down a few kilos, which makes it the perfect commuter bike for me. I also lake the shakes and vibrations it does.
@@edcgadgets-de He probably meant by switching the stock exhausts for the Mistrals. With the Agostini you reduce about 5kg they say, I figure it's similar for the Mistrals.
I bought new Centenario V7 in October. After 13 years with my Desmoquattro Monster S4 with many performance upgrades, is ride with Guzzi prefect relax and joy for me. Im looking forward to spring! Thank you for the nice relax video! ❤
The chilled pace is perfect to inhale this stunning landscape, really something for all the senses. I've found the razor focus required by the "demon" is often at the expense of fully enjoying the surroundings. Must make it Giau soon, thanks for the ride Schaaf!

This bike is on my list of wants no doubt. i'm riding a bmw f800r (bike for girls!) now and my friend has a MG California Jackal. It intimidated me a bit at first but after riding it a few times it's just kind of sublime. A great riding bike. Thanks for the videos and the scenery in this one is stunning!
Love the look of the V7, totally old-school but modern...but the Kawasaki W800 always seems to pop into my mind whenever I think of the Moto Guzzi. Maybe because my local Kawa dealership has been trying to get me to test ride the one on their floor...
What I love about the new V7 is how well it pulls to redline. There's a specific route that I like to take sometimes that has a lot of wide sweeping curves, then a couple of sharper ones. I feel like this where the bike is really in its element. You can pretty much stay in 5th or 6th gear the whole time and the bike will lean over just the way you need it to.
Love the stock exhaust sound of these Guzzis. I have an '09 V7 Classic with stock exhaust. Every time I go on the "tube" to listen to Agostini- or Mistral-fitted ones, I always come back to stock as my preference.

Glad you liked the bike, Schaaf! Next to my Nine-T Racer I have the 2019 V7III Racer (with the gorgeous matte chrome tank and red frame). Absolutely love it. Yes, it's not high on power, scrapes more easily than the boxer and has quite soft suspension in comparison...but man, does it make up in character! I'd rather ride this 52hp bike than any Kawa H2R. Love that burbly exhaust, gear whine, the looks...also love that it is 100% Italian. Made in an Italian village near lake Como, by Italians, with Italian parts. I've only swapped the exhausts for some beautiful black Agostini's (also made in Mandello a few hundred meters from the Guzzi factory), so that doesn't trigger my bike OCD ;-) Maybe 'pre-tensioning' the gear lever before shifting will lose most of the 'clackyness', works for me.
