I remember Alice Oseman asked on her Instagram stories that what male celebrity would 18-19 year old girls be into and most of the people said Timothee Chalamet and then I saw the reference in Loveless and I was like woahhhh now I get it
Loveless is one of the few pieces of media I've seen that has an aromantic character at all. I loved it! I've been through a lot of the thing that happened with Georgia so she felt realistic and I really connected with her.
OKAY I appreciated this live sm 🥰🥺💜♠️ unfortunately missed the live, but loved watching it back!! Another part in Loveless I loved was when Jason says something like “just friends” implies that it’s lesser or worse to be friends rather than merely different. I felt so seen by that comment because “just friends” and “more than friends” is used so so much in conversation and media and it hurts me. I wish we could equally value platonic and romantic relationships (and I get the nuance and gray-area of possible relationships there as every relationship is unique) and not put down friendship in order to talk about romance.
Loved Loveless ! 💜 About love being not just romantic love, I really liked reading Bell Hooks's "All about love", I feel like it's a book everybody should read !
being ace and having three ace booktubers talking about a book with an ace main character....😭😭💕💕💕💕
