Great you could repair it Brent. Thanks for explaining every step. The noise's still kind of creepy.

Nicely done Brent at least it's up and running IMO that was the reason why they sold it 😂 .
Yes it's a bit nois but it happens then little pinions don't like to be messed around with .

Nice work Brent! Happy you figured it out! It almost sounds like a miss aligned or chipped tooth in the pinion gear. This noise puzzles me yet it seems to push it way thru nicely! Now I’d run it with the sound on just so I wouldn’t have to hear that loud gear noise! 😂👍🏻

Yeah Rob I think I miss shaped the pinion a bit but still running strong lol definitely going to use the sound I plan on upgrades soon anyway

Glad you got it fixed. It sucks you had to spend so much time fiddling with it though. Occasionally the deals are not what they are cracked up to be.

Good fix man. That actually happened me with my dozer, stripped the planetary gears completely apart twice and rebuilt. Them only to figure out it’s actually the pinion on the driveshaft motor.

Great fix man! Have you ever used green locktite? Its a sleeve retaining compound. Its like surper glue for metal, works great for stuff like this, used it in the shipyard alot.

Awesome fix! Seems way stronger than the last video. I wouldn't have been brave enough to open it.

Hey Brent, great fix! Maybe the grinding noise will go away with usage? Hopefully you can get the replacement motor and pinion soon

Are most of the wires for the lights and sound system?

The packaging was terrible, I surprised it got to you as good as it did as you can see the marks in the outer box. That gearbox does not sound right after the fix, I would look to see if there is a replacement. But this is the problem with buying second hand people lie all the time.

Thank you very much Malcom I think miss shaped the pinion when I hammered on it I want to put upgrades on it so hopefully it will hold trident to buy some new all metal gear box's with 370 motors from magom in Spain but having problems getting it ro go through

I don't believe that he only drove it the one time either lol but to be fair, that battery connector is the same as in mine. For some reason, Huina have different ones on the same machines even though they should be standard. I've seen this before on other videos on here. Personally, I don't like that connector as its very tight and I'm afraid I'll probably pull it off the wiring by accident at some point 😮.
It also seems that he modified the top link for the bucket in order to make it tip over more cos with the standard one, it doesn't quite empty the bucket when the loader is up fully. It needs a longer one like he made which is a good thing for you actually lol but yeah, he was lying big time 😂.
I'm glad you got it sorted and I also watched the video where you put the magom drive gearboxes into it so it was still no problem as you were going to replace all this stuff anyway 😎
