Lol easy just cut out dragoon, the dark magicians, magician's soul, soul servant, verte, the black luster link and pretty much any card over 20 dollars and then run commons of everything that is common and there is you budget build.

I've been watching your videos for a long time now DAD, and I would just ignore people who troll over what you have or don't have in a deck. Its about your choice. I like this build personally. Not every deck is going to be the same because then the game loses its flavor and stops being fun. People nowadays aren't creative and just want to put the same stuff in their decks because it so called "works for them." What may work for one person, may not work for another. I love your vids and please keep doing these videos! :)

@@DarkArmedDuelist A lot of us switched 2 Dark Magician’s and the reason for that is just so our opening hands are less bricky. Dark Magician is a card that doesn’t do anything on its own. So there really is no good reason somebody would want to have a copy in their opening hand. We always want Magician’s Rod and Magicians’ Souls in our opening hand plus whatever disruptions or extenders we prefer to create our targeted board. The third Dark Magician doesn’t take away from the odds of opening Rod + Souls but the third copy does hurt our odds of getting actually useable cards on turn 1. In my past year of playing with 2 Dark Magicians, I’ve never had both of of them get banished by the opponent. It’s safer than you might think. I don’t really like some of TSX1’s Dark Magician builds but he is taking a major step in the right direction with this decision. You should try it out yourself.

Fusion Deployment is probably the best replacement for Souls. Luckily for you, it’s actually getting a reprint as a Super Rare in the Cyber Strike Structure Deck making it easier to get
Sad sad i even have most of the cards but well getting the few other ones is a bit... 600€ bucks i think yeah sadly I have to pass thats way over my budget... just bitter that most of these cards simply have no reprint Dragoon still at 70€ Verte at 40€ Accessescode at 100€ Souls at 75€ each S. Servant 25€ each and so on... thanks for the video tho at least fun theory crafting now that my Link Dragons are not as flexible anymore...
FYI I’m only saying this to be helpful with your dark magician deck. Your deck is vastly different than mine in a bad way bro. The keeper’s are a wasted normal summon. If you normal summon and the effect gets negated then you are stuck into fusions for the rest of the turn and there’s no way to link it off.. I would say your deck is different from mine in this many cards Main Deck 15 Extra Deck 9 NOTE: Mahad is my FAVORITE CARD!! But he is too bricky even with servant.. take him out until there is more support for him or “palladium” support
I'm always open to constructive criticism, that's totally fine. I enjoy playing keeper because it's pay off is so nice. I have plenty of follow up plays if my keeper gets negated, plus I play it as a normal summon so I link it away with jester, souls or appreciate as a special summon to go into anaconda. So the same can be said about anaconda, if I go into it and it gets negated then I'm down to just my spells and traps which is fine in dark magician. In short, I can play through negates.

I can play through more than 1 hand trap, example would be: 1. Normal rod or Special appearance 2. Gets hand trapped 3. Special summon souls or jester 4. Make anaconda 5. Make dragoon You can also set back row after. This deck has a lot of potential.
i'm honestly just waiting at the moment because Soul got a reprint in the Brothers of Legend booster coming out on the 3rd it went from like $140+ down to like $60-ish on TCGPlayer
Why would you play Dark Magicians and not play Dragoon? I understand budget constraints but he is making decks with the intention of having them be good, if Dragoon makes it good then it's a no-brainer.
@@arcware0 Dragoon has no purpose in this deck. The material for it just recks the consistency of the deck. This one is not very consistent to begin with. I could shut it down in one turn.
This dark magician deck profile specificly is very bad. I run a dark magician deck and i dont use any dragoon or any other fusion monster or spell cards other than 1 dark magician the dragon knight, 1 dark paladin, and 1 amulet dragon with 2 poly, 1 THE EYE OF TIMAEUS, and 1 super poly. This deck profile would not stand a chance aginst any deck whith any slight power or negates and is way to expencive for any casual player to get and use. I am not trying to start any fights or put down what you have done but it could have been alot better. (Also jester is a awful card and should have never been put anywhere near this type of deck.) Two soul will do fine in the deck as well as two robe would help with consistency of any dark magician deck. I am sorry this is long and it seems like i am critiquing everything i am just very passionate about dark magician and know when a deck profile for it can be alot better. (also three etranl soul is almost a necciety or any dark magican deck.) and again i run a dark magician deck so i kind of know what i am talking about.
I can play through around 2-3 negate which is pretty good for a rouge deck. Dragoons IS the dark magician boss monster currently until it goes to 0 on the list, also the eye of timaeus is unsearchable which makes it inconsistent, jester helps with links as explained in the video. 3 eternal souls is ok if you want but can also be a 2 of because of the new field spell auto setting it to the field. I find that my deck is consistent and IS the best I can do because I am playing the best dark magician fusion monster, Red-Eyes Dark Dragoons.

Wile the eye of timaeus is not scratchable it is the best fusion card for dark magician. As well as I put in the other that I only run a total of 4 fusion cards and my deck has never been defeated and can play through with out needing to think about being negated or having an extra deck. My deck has been tournament tested and played against modern meta decks and won every time with minor changes to the deck itself.

@@DarkArmedDuelist Eats your Normal Summon, requires playing cards you wouldn't normally play like poly, cant search with rod in the same turn. Rod is the better card to normal summon and this just takes away from that.

I priced out my Dark Magician deck and its $1600. Mostly due to the LED6 cards being English. But that's only half of the deck value. 😔
I don't know if you've checked out Team Samurai's build. He runs it with 2 Dark Magicians.
I haven't seen that. I don't super understand why he would just play 2 but if it works for him that's fine. I'd always play 3.
