I once had the opportunity to sit in during an abscess surgery, a woman had up to 8 litres of brown fluid removed. It was fascinating to watch and to calculate how much it weighed. 8L x 1 (1L of pure water = 1kg) so she had at least an extra 8kg (17.6lb) to walk around with at least.
- i had moderate acne for a gd year id say its not always the best policy to pop a spot mainly because the pus or sebum will go back down into the body and resurface as the same spot but in another place thus the best policy for spots or someone with mild acne is - a deep cleansing micro bead face wash left on for longer than just 5 -10 seconds drink water whenever u can (hydration is key to smooth skin) + eat more fruits get a gd nights sleep + dnt touch ur face + sure meditation prob helps tbh u do these for a week u should deffo see some improvement unfortunately acne is sometimes down to 2 things u cant do much about - stress and puberty. with puberty it will at least stop one day (vul if ur between 12 and 20 and have had acne for more than 2 yrs) i had it moderate for just under a year i promise u and after 3 or 4 yrs down the line youll have very good skin after ur ordeal mybe cos of all the creams ur putting on the affected area when u are suffering. If you have moderate or severe acne and ur at your wits end i have a few recommendations but these are for moderate/extreme cases only - easy d.i.y for spots is toothpaste neat str8 on the spot the higher the ppm of flouride the better is going to work leave it on overnight i suggest another compound that seems to do the trick well is athletes foot cream use it in the same way as toothpaste + alc gel also very gd. under the worst case scenarios (ie pizza face level) your gp or doctor will prescribe you oxy- tetracycline tablets majority of the time these tablets work and at a crzy speed (very noticable diff in 3 days) and then the last resort is laser surgery on the individual follicles but i assume this would cost. thx 4 readin
Because as you move back from the window your field of vision (through the window) is narrowed. This means that you see LESS of whatever is outside and what you do see fills the entire window, instead of only part of the window.
I had a pimple on my lower eye brow near the ridge of my nose I didn't know the pimple was there i only noticed it when I had a bad headache because of it and made my eye tear up I touch it and it hurts so bad I cried I popped it and it made a sound Headache gone !
I recently had a very bad boil on my stomach. I squeezed it and it just got worse. It got so bad I went to a walk-in clinic and had to have it drained. They told me that I should NOT have squeezed it.
I don't get how James is very smart and can understand all of this complicated stuff and figure out difficult situations yet he can't understand directions.
Does that happen to you? :o Anyway if so, are microtears happening in the skin on the nail bed? My sister used to bite her nails too short and they'd bleed from the tearing! Then bacteria can easily get into the small cuts or tears which will form pus. :)
I have had an abscess on my knee... though it was just a zit, but 2 days later it hurt even to walk. and going to the doc you get stuck with a nasty needle *hurts like an S.O.B) and it takes days to heal and you have to drain it a lot!
Earth is the largest rocky body in the solar system, so in that sense, it is. But you're right, it perhaps doesn't count as a rock on it's own since it has a core of molten rock and it's own atmosphere. My suggestion was not entirely serious haha
Here's a question: Why does hair go grey? I know how- the slowing/stopping of melanin production to those hairs, but WHY? Is there a specific reason that greying happens, in terms of evolutionary advantage? As someone who is going quite grey quite early, perhaps it will provide some solace...
I see your point, I just don't see a practical application for the idea. Unless you're personally okay with cleaning your face with alcohol on a regular basis that may prevent some acne because as you said alcohol would kill the bacteria and may prevent the infection, but it's not necessarilly practical
Just a tip: If you are a teenager do NOT squeeze your zits! There are many cremes and shit that makes the zits disappear in 1-2 days, and there are no marks left. If you do however squeeze all the zits, by the time you're 18 your face will look like you've been poking holes in it with big needles!
I chose the wrong time to eat a yogurt.
Lol
Lol xd good one
That's what I said when I was watching that porno.
You're talking about eating yogurt , I was eating pasta with more cheese.
🤣🤣
Thank you for your sacrifice, white bloods.

James May is incredible, I could listen to him for hours
Finally a video about this that isn't super gross.
Glad to know someone out there is fighting and sacrificing for me ❤️
What is Pus? Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me no more.
Zit, zit, zit zit-zit zit, zit, zit zit-zit...
UltraSeRoXaT here have my like and reply😅😅😅😅😅
thanks my supermario brother
UltraSeRoXaT lmao
I really would like to see james explaining what is carbon fiber, how it's made and why it is so strong and yet lightweight.
"Pus is grear fun"
-James May
Thanks james you got me on that weird side of youtube fast

did anyone else look up huge zit after this video?
I did. I can't sleep now. Thanks Head Squeeze!
This guy has the voice of one of my favorites you tubers..
So innovative and beautiful way of imparting with the knowledge. Wish I knew you before.

I could listen to James talk for days.
Good stuff! Health related topics are always good. As a Nurse, I approve of this video!
A nurse with 6969 in their name😂
The "pus" in acne zits is actually sebum (the oil on your skin) and not dead white cells.
Why do we get a rash if we lick around our lips?
Oh LOL I liked your comment because I thought you said "Why do we get a rash if we lick around our nips?" :' )
You can just unlike it.
Because as you move back from the window your field of vision (through the window) is narrowed. This means that you see LESS of whatever is outside and what you do see fills the entire window, instead of only part of the window.
That shirt is good on him
I've had a massive internal abscess and had about half a liter in pus and related matter. Always see the doc!
All three of them together discussing science ain't bad either! a bit liking doing the news!
Searched this Unironically and was treated with a May lecture.
I had a pimple on my lower eye brow near the ridge of my nose I didn't know the pimple was there i only noticed it when I had a bad headache because of it and made my eye tear up I touch it and it hurts so bad I cried I popped it and it made a sound

+ruzzell907 that must have felt great!
The James May stance. Hands in pocket, one thumb showing.
James May can make any topic sound interesting. Too bad everyone ignores his genius on TG.
This is so informative. Thank you ☺️💕
I already knew what it was. But I came to hear James may
I recently had a very bad boil on my stomach. I squeezed it and it just got worse. It got so bad I went to a walk-in clinic and had to have it drained. They told me that I should NOT have squeezed it.
James May, why are you so charming when you tell me fascinating things about pus? you should be a science professor!
Richard created Blast Lab for a reason.
Thank you James very informative! Captain Info!
"What is pus?"
Jeremy Clarkson's brain.
James May,
You're cool and Jeremy under-appreciates your awesomeness. Keep it real.
Respectfully,
Timothy from the U.S.
I woke up with pink eye this morning.
So.
You know.
Fitting that I got to see this today.
Thanks for making me want to search zit popping
He used to! :D If you're in the UK they sometimes show his old 80s documentaries on Dave XD
Thank God its normal. Thank you so much for this
253 am. And watching head squeeze on my bday. Life is good
man lab yesterday was awesome as always :)
Nice sweater James!
nah, that really depends on the individual. Some get scars from it, and some dont. But yeah, generally not popping them is a good idea
Theres something "Classic" feeling about this guy like reminds me of 80-90s people
happy birthday to you sir
I don't get how James is very smart and can understand all of this complicated stuff and figure out difficult situations yet he can't understand directions.
I shouldn't have watched this while eating lunch. Great video as always!
depends on what you eat.
i adore your voice Sir...
this man is brilliant!!! you rock!!!
you just got thousands of people searching for zit squeezing videos
That's oddly interesting
Yes, nothing like a great pimple pop.
James May, would Hamster as a special guest work for your Q&A videos?
so what bout those yellow mushy solids inside a pimple?
how come some people say we shouldn't pop zits because it will spread?
and what are cysts?
Brilliant! How do hydrolics work?
Nothing like a good zit poppin' =)
couldn't take my eyes off that portrait in the back!
but why does it appear after we excessively cut our nails or just take them off forcefully what does bacteria have to do with this????
Does that happen to you? :o Anyway if so, are microtears happening in the skin on the nail bed? My sister used to bite her nails too short and they'd bleed from the tearing! Then bacteria can easily get into the small cuts or tears which will form pus. :)
no as you are travelling at a constant velocity to the bus and ignoring air resistance you would continue with the same speed and direction as the bus
I have had an abscess on my knee... though it was just a zit, but 2 days later it hurt even to walk. and going to the doc you get stuck with a nasty needle *hurts like an S.O.B) and it takes days to heal and you have to drain it a lot!

What an epic history is the work of the white blood cells (neutrophils) against bacteria.
I opened the door and I saw a doctor

delicious video! patrocinated by Hellmann's!

I learnt in science class that the two types of White Blood Cells are lymphocytes and phagocytes
Very amusing very nice love it❤😃
I'd never got zits when I got sick just as a teenager.
"...and this can be fatal. See a doctor!"
So if its not white or yellow be afraid
That would be nice!
James’s advice: “See a doctor”
I read that.... in his voice
well..by definition it is!
I pronounce this is officially the sickest videos on the web
I use to work with someone called the "pus", short for "pus eye". He had yellow crust around his eyes.
i love watching this stuff when im eating have no idea y
TOP GEAR
Slot cars, Model trains, Rocket cars and glue.
Why does time go forwards?
Ah I see. It makes sense, but it's kinda a weird phenomenon is it?
Show should have been called Pimple Squeeze
So in abbreviated form, pus is macrophage excrement. Good video.
What is Dust?
Blowing shit up
I'm allowed to squeeze a zit... I have a zit, on my head.
Does this mean that it will be a Head Squeeze?
What of the PUS is clear and liquidy?
It can be clear red and yellow all at once when it's underneath trapped skin and hard small seed like blocks
Call an ambulance!
i love u james!!!
disturbing but somehow interesting
My Face While Watching This!!

I know, that is why I said "prevent", and not "heal".
More to the point how does Jeremy get sick when he's driving?
I nearly few up
how do clouds stay up in the sky?
w immune system
So... Now its OK to pop my zits? But Bill Nye told me "Never pop your zits". Take a look at 4:25 of Bill Nye The Science Guy; Germs. 39 BillNye-Germs
