I wish someone did for Shoot Boxing what Muay Hardcore/One Championship did for Muay Thai. I think Shoot Boxing would be way more interesting with 4oz fingerless gloves. I feel like the sport would be more exciting and encourage it's catch wrestling roots with the submission work being improved with grappling or MMA gloves.
I would like to thank you for showing the underdogs of martial arts. It's clear nobody talks about these mostly unknown forms of kickboxing, most people don't even know what muay thai kickboxing is, it's all just mma and boxing here in the west. Kickboxing has been my favorite sport ever since I've first discovered in 2018 and love the good k-1 fights in the 140 - 155 weight class category. SHOOT BOXING 2023 act.4 featured an open finger Shoot Boxing bout. Hiroki Kasahara won with a submission too.

Why are shootboxers sometimes dressed as muay thai boxers?
I'm guessing they have a choice on what they wear, it does seem off tho.
MMA was a mistake, only mixed fight events should be uwf rules or shoot boxing
I love shootboxing but using any martial art style and technique you have available to prove who is the best martial artist is not a mistake
