    I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I could see this kid being a star in this league, you already knows how to shoot, that's one skill that if it continues on this path in the next year will be elite, put that together with his size and athleticism I think we have the makings of a star, there I say superstar, I'll definitely be going to some 905 games to check this kid out this year

      What happened to Christian Coloco?

      @@DanGolag I mean, the point is, everyone is very optimistic about the new guys. Only 2 or 3 out of like 20 Raptors draft picks outside of the lottery turned out to be descent. Let's keep our fingers crossed that 1 of the 4 guys drafted this year turn out descent.

      @@mlai2546 That's true, Koloko isn't a good data point to support that argument, that was an extreme statistical outlier.

    Potential superstar lol? He is one of the rawest prospects I've seen in quite some time, you'll be lucky if he's capable of being a 3rd string centre for you.
    If he's ever good enough to be a backup that'd be the best case scenario.

      Chomche already plays for Cameroon’s A team. That should speak volume to you.

      @@blaiset.5552 And that competition is on the same level as the NBA? Putting impossible expectations and levels of pressure on an 18 year old is only setting yourself and Ulrich up for failure. Give him time and hopefully he can learn the game better, develop and prosper, but the outcome is very unlikely.

      @@N0body999 lol I'm a Raptors fan, I'm just not going to put almost impossible expectations/pressure on an 18 year old.
      I hope he succeeds and becomes great, but I'd rather not put all my eggs in the basket of the 57th pick becoming anything other than a role player, which would be a fantastic outcome for pick 57

    He is the next Jordan……..is what a raptors fan would say. In two years he’ll be out of the league and we can come back to this video and make fun of everyone.

      @sundeep18 3 месяца назад

      Exactly! Bruno had all the tools too.
      It all amounted to nothing.
      This guy's been playing for 5 years now and he hasn't really improved that much over that time..
      I hope it does work out but ppl should temper their expectations and be extremely patient.
      He's not going to be NBA ready for at least 3-4 years

    • @Dennyg289
      @Dennyg289 3 месяца назад

      Nah, this kid was drafted at the end of the second round, not first round 20th pick. Theres a better development league system compared to when Bruno was drafted(he was the reason the Raptors invested in the 905). No comparison, Bruno just wasn't emotionally ready for the league.

      @@Dennyg289 the 905 had a pretty good system with very decent coaches when Bruno was around.
      Ultimately you can never really tell when you pick a player that's so young and raw was my point
      It's generally a swing for the fences type of gamble.
      It's more likely a bust than a superstar.
      I hope he becomes the next Hakeem but let's see
