Although the Russians, the enemy forces, were superior, Osman Pasha and his soldiers strongly resisted for days. Months have passed. There was no support for Pleven. Despite this, Osman Pasha did not surrender and continues to resist. After a while, the soldier will run out of food and ammunition. All four sides were filled with enemy soldiers. Osman Pasha and his soldiers attacked the Russian forces on the evening of 10 December with the bayonet force. Our soldiers, who attacked the enemy forces with bayonets, gave a great and bloody war. Many Ottoman soldiers were martyred here. Pleven was defended for 145 days. During this time, the city was besieged by the Russians 3 times. But Osman Pasha repulsed the Russians. When the Russians besieged the city for the 4th time, they were able to capture Pleven. Osman Pasha, on the other hand, was taken prisoner. The Pleven Defense is one of the most important defenses in Ottoman and world history, thanks to the heroism of Osman Pasha.
