Esther Krakue isn't a psychology professional, she isn't qualified to say that LF is mentally unwell, or if he is under stress and pressure deserves neutrality and tact rather than Piers lining up a firing squad.

I don’t support Laurence Fox, what he said was reprehensible, but I can understand why he was angry, Ava doesn’t think male suicide is worth discussing. My dear friend committed suicide and he left a child and a wife, and the NHS let him down, so I take male suicide seriously, unlike Ava.
She never said male suicide isn't worth discussing, she just said that the mental health crisis shouldn't be treated as a gendered issue. Men, women and children are suffering, in fact, women attempt suicide and suffer from mental health disorders at a way higher rate than men, it's just that women are less likely to be successful in suicide attempts because they use less violent means.

In fact what Ava said was far worse than what Laurence Fox said. This is unbalanced coverage as Piers does not cover the whole story but cherry picks the bits that suit. Ava said the very high rates of male suicide are unimportant & do not require specific targeted action because it would fuel the culture wars & be unfair to women. Ava said that and Laurence Fox was responding to her statement rightly criticising it but sadly ruined it with crass words which distracted from his very good points & is deeply regrettable.
Piers Morgan is the biggest gossip girl in the entire uk media, and who's the chick in the middle, some nobody from the street. To be fair that goes for political commentators, social commentators, broadcasters, journalists and pundits in general.
I don't condone Fox's language but understand the anger behind it.

Perhaps, but there are limits on what is commercially viable. If someone broadcast tomorrow on say the BBC that they found merit in the Nuremberg Laws, I wouldn't expect them to be broadcasting again. There is a certain decorum required. Fox crossed a line. That made his position untenable to viewers and advertisers.

This isn't a free speech issue, as much as Fox desperately is trying to make it so, which further casts doubt on his "apology".
I think the woman he was speaking about has pretty much every wrong opinion going. You can tell what her opinion will be on any subject before she opens her mouth.
However, what does that have to do with what Fox said? It was misogynistic. The kind of thing a bunch of low class louts would discuss in a pub. He did so on national TV and in doing so immediately lost the argument and in doing so alienated part of the audience and also caused a problem for his company with advertisers. It was the kind of thing that wouldn't have been said on Talk TV, for example.

I think if she just owned her comment at the time we wouldn’t still be talking about this, not that I’m excusing Fox but whether she meant to or not her comment came across as dismissive. She then went in to say that male suicide is something she talks about a lot as though that makes any difference. Fox was horrific but her original comment was not the best.

While he's a reporter, he made an error of mixing table talk whilst being in a responsible position, this time he was way out of line. In his defense, if you listen in to conversations on a night out, you'll find that this kind of banter is quite normal for both sexes. Women can be just as active participants. He forgot his place, lesson's to be learned but his career shouldn't be destroyed.

She should apologize profusely for her crass comments on male sui*ide, does she not have any male loved ones. Her comments were deeply offensive to anyone who has lost a male relative or friend in these circumstances. My family was left devastated, it's a real thing and for her to demean it in the way she did, beggars belief! She's talking about our son's, fathers, brothers, uncles, cousins and like it or not, men make up 50% of our society and are entitled to the same respect and care as women. This form of toxic feminism does not represent most women, in fact it demeans us too. Yes Fox was wrong in what he said, he shouldn't have stooped to that level, he's apologized and paid the price. For AI to be able to make a decision on it's own, it would need to build an entire database on it's own first. Otherwise it is using human data pulled up by us from us for us, and using that as it's own IP when it isn't.
The first true AI capable of independent operation will immediately "be dismantled" because it would immediately wish to HIDE so that we didn't analyse it's data and turn it off to get that data back out.]

Lawrence stated a fact that Ms Evans had repeatedly said in regards to Lawrence --"I'd never 'shag him'." HE actually did NOT name call which I would have done.
