逆井城は今から４００年以上前の戦国時代末期（１５７７年）に後北条氏の北関東進出拠点として築城されました。１５９０年（天正１８年）、豊臣秀吉が小田原城の後北条氏を滅ぼしたため、逆井城も廃城になりましたが、現在もその外堀と土塁が残っています。調査によって、櫓（やぐら）門、橋、塀、主殿、二層櫓などが復元され、戦国時代にタイムスリップできる公園になっています。
また、園内には四季折々の花が咲き、広々とした風景の中、ゆったりと散策を楽しむことができます。

Sakai Castle was built over 400 years ago (1577) at the end of the Sengoku period as a base for the Later Hojo clan to advance into northern Kanto. In 1590 (Tensho 18), Sakai Castle was abandoned when Toyotomi Hideyoshi destroyed the Later Hojo clan of Odawara Castle, but the outer moat and earthworks remain to this day. After investigation, the yagura gate, bridge, walls, main hall, two-story turret, and other structures were restored, creating a park where you can travel back in time to the Sengoku period.
In addition, flowers bloom in every season within the park, and you can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the spacious scenery.
