I hope the cardinals keep the alternate red uniforms for years to come. This is first year I recall them ever wearing red uniforms, while other red teams like the Angels, Reds, and Nationals wear them all the time.
Good old Jo Jo almost blew another game for Sonny in the 8th. Amazing Kittridge held them to only 2 runs.... somebody needs to tell Romero he doesnt have to strike everyone out and stop walking guys in the late innings. Good to see they are playing good! Gotta beat the good teams to win at the end of the season.
Thank you. That's what I said too. People tried saying he is being overused. But that's NOT true. Before yesterday, he hadn't played since LAST Monday. And that's when it took FIVE batters before he could get 1 out. The Friday before that he only had 2 batters. Last night he pitched to 3 batters (gave up 1 hit...not bad). Then today he walked the only 2 batters he faced. Let's hope he gets back into his old self again and playing great. 👏 Go Cards !
@sarahnoellsch8026 he looks OK with good stuff lately, but he's overthrowing and trying to strike everyone out... he needs to locate his fastball and stop throwing for velocity. He even gets ahead in the count often and tries to be too perfect and get the strike out. If he would just pitch to weak contact, he can work it out. I think another good idea is to bring him in earlier in the game to give his psyche a break from the late game situations. A 3 run lead is still a save for a closer, so even today, there was a big stage atmosphere, especially after Sonny's performance. Thanks for reading. Hopefully, Jo Jo can get it together.
Look at all those empty seats . The cardinals brought in relieve pitching. And almost. Threw away. Grays. performance . That stadium was one that would be packed . Not no more ! Just mediocre cardinals !

He will be huge to get back as well he was their best hitter before he got hurt so now that Burleson Winn and Goldy are hitting waaaay better his bat coming back to the lineup is gonna huge but say wut you want Pages has earned a spot he has great chemistry with all the guys on the pitching staff, he hits pretty good and runs the bases decent also solid behind the dish
@isaacclarke7425 Edman will bring a better bat than Siani and good defense in CF when he comes back they won't put Edman over Winn but I'd take his bat and experience over Siani
