I loved how in the finale ep we are shown that Asta is more than just with Anti-magic, it's because he trains and has persevered through all the challenges he's faced, he's able to accomplish the things he's able to do. It's not just Anti-magic alone its everything combined.
To go back to ep 162, since we know that it was in fact's Liebe's rage moment, during the berserk scene I always find Dante's words "Now that's what truly makes you human" interesting because he was effectively calling Liebe the devil a human at that moment.
Asta has always been grateful to anything that's been given to him since he comes from a background of being poor. Him saying thank you to Liebe is an addition to that already established aspect of his character. Which is one of things I like about him as a character.
My second favorite character is here! Some interesting fact about Nacht's devils is that they're based on the German fairytale Town Musicians of Bremen which have a Donkey, Dog, Cat and a Rooster and Nacht's devils resembles those animals. Also, Nacht's birthday is on April 30 which is tied to Devil worship and Witchcraft in German Folklore
I really love the fact that both Asta's and Liebe's name mean love, Licita loved her kids so much she named them after it. Tabata (the author) did a great job with that small detail. Now with Asta and Liebe being similar at least in my eyes the author did it for the sake of paralleling each other. Granted if there is more to it I'm not going to be surprised.
Everyone seems to miss or not understand how Liebe acquired antimagic. The witch queen explained that Licht’s swords required a tremendous amount of mana to wield. Licht had nearly infinite amount so he could hold the sword as it drained the holders mana to charge it. So if you use science, Liebe charged himself with antimagic because he was in contact with the sword for a long time. Think of it as osmosis or like magnetizing an iron nail with a real magnet.
There is a Tragic backstory for Nacht's 'hating all thing' behaviour. But the person he hate the most is actually himself. That tragic past actually effected both Yami and Nacht pretty hard. Yami didn't had smoking habit in the past but Nacht did. After the incident, Yami picked up smoking habit while Nacht quite it
A journey has come to end, until the movie tomorrow! On a real I liked your guy's reaction to this series always brining up nice and interesting conversations, speculating on things within the show. Its been fun truly, also thanks for giving the show a chance glad it surpassed your expectations even if a little bit.
Funfact, which I only just noticed myself - You actually already see the half-elf children in episode 120 very briefly, as well as in one panel in the coresponding manga chapter!
No, it's both Licht's grimoire and Zagred's. Remember: when the grimoire evolved into a grimoire of despair, Licht lost ownership of it, and devils can use such grimoires. Zagred turned Patry's grimoire into a grimoire of despair as well, and he actually used said grimoire, but it was originally Patry's grimoire as well. Now, it is currently Asta's grimoire, because the grimoire chose Asta. The grimoire belongs to whoever the grimoire chooses.
I always thought of it that since liebe didn't have magic being placed into a magical object the grimoir, it caused his powers to manifest as a negative energy loop or something like that. Basically by being placed Into a magical item (positive energy) he developed anti-magic (negative energy) to survive. Just a odd theory
There is another theory on youtube sounds really interesting. The nature of Liebe’s power is Dark Energy which created in the Grimoir. Dark Energy is an unknown form of energy that effects the universe to expand. So everytime Asta attacks a spell, it looks like it destroy it but it actually expand it out.
about your convo near the end, i have no idea how Asta survived in the womb if she absorbs life and not just magic but my guess is on the father is he either also didn't have magic like you said or that he had an insane amount and somehow managed to last long enough to get the job done before running out 😅
There's a theory that she might have been cursed *after* getting pregnant, possibly by a jealous lover of Asta's father, since her draining ability is similar to Henry's curse.
@@ashleypenn7845Aren't Asta's mother and Henry's power different. Henry is just able to magic/mana around him. Whereas Asta's mother not only absorbs mana but take life out of living beings.
I believe there is something about the nature of Asta. Because when Zagred activates a spell that can drains life force, but Asta doesn't seem to be affected
Yeah the anime was just a hair's breadth from the manga. If the anime would've wanted to continue, it would have only been able to make 8 eps and become toe to toe with the manga LOL.
Now decision time, do you wait for possible anime return with no definitive answer if we will get a return, or go start the Manga at Chapter 270. Seems Niko is on his way though....
i think asta's mom got cursed after she had asta for something she did, maybe who asta's father is?? i think asta's father is ASTAroth (1 of the top devils in the underworld) thats why licita got cursed by humans or him. its why even without magic asta is still so good at everything and can push past his limits so far and was able to connected to liebe and his grimoire . he has good blood lines and connections to devils but his mom took all his magic, we know curses exist in the world from Gordans family. Thats why she could have him, but had to give him up. all my guess but it makes kinda sense. The names match,we know the gimoire was owned by asta's mom before liebe was sealed she said she just has one and you get a 5 leaf grimoire by bringing a devil to the overworld from the elf arc. Just makes sense asta father would be astraroth the hints are there Ps this is spoiler so to say. But piecing together strong possibles
its kinda fun that you call yami by first name but not william? could it be that Grey is some how recontructing mana and not transforming mana? idk just spit balling.. :P could that man is dead literally mean death. like the man your thinking of is dead, im not him kinda thing? obviously i have zero clue.. that grimore is not his its licht's grimore. we already learned that elves create black clovers... obivously she sleeps with a man without magic then gives birth to a son without magic. it's really easy to figured that out thou..? either way that's my guess.. well nero's whole focus was to watch over licht 's grimore, which lead her to asta, right? (btw im writing this as soon you guys are saying it) yeah that makes sense thou because asta might have devolped magic later on in his life. so she gave him up for that possiblity.... obviously we see kids with magic but not babies xD i think the creator of black clover said they were gonna show yami's homeland... idk any news on black clover is super old at this point :P
Also, elves don't create black clovers. Those who are chosen by four-leaf grimoires, when overcome by despair, achieve grimoires of despair, and the clovers become black clovers. This applies to any race, except devils.
yeah the channel's still at 35k subs... first time i watched u guys was ur shiled hero reaction. idk what happened in between. did u not complete the series u started or what. Cuz i expected better growth than this... sari...

Nacht's four devils are a reference to the folktale The Town Musicians of Bremen. Very clever personification of Nacht.

36:40 There are the two types of people 💀
🤣
Asta dad is the REALEST he died for that opportunity a real man🔥
I like how well you guys pay attentions to details
Glad you guys wrapped this up just in time for the Black Clover movie. Hope there's a reaction for it! Thanks for staying with BC the whole way 🖤.

The devil worm things Zagred made stole life and mana, but had zero effect on Asta.
i love how the guy pretends he doesnt spoil EVERYTHING every episode lmao . I personally love it because i do the same with my friends 😂
It's not funny
@ManishGupta-jv6ll Spoiling things to others isn't funny. It's just rude, and obnoxious.
wiht Asta-level muscles, Asta could've eaten All Might's hair and mastered All for One without any training
But he will never skip leg day😂
Lucifero not being aizen level villain meanwhile Julius 😈

Man I really hope we get Nacht backstory in the movie I am about to watch, what an amazing finale!
There is a villain that will give you Aizen vibes😉 later in the manga since the author is a huge fan of Bleach.
asta's dad did the ultimate sacrifice lol
I hope the movie does well enough to bring the final manga chapters in OVA format that way they may wrap up the show with the animation it deserves.
Funfact, which I only just noticed myself - You actually already see the half-elf children in episode 120 very briefly, as well as in one panel in the coresponding manga chapter!
It’s not the devil book lol it’s licht book from all those years ago…she just randomly found it. Devils don’t have those books
No, it's both Licht's grimoire and Zagred's. Remember: when the grimoire evolved into a grimoire of despair, Licht lost ownership of it, and devils can use such grimoires. The yami death thrust at the end was the icing on the cake
And now the movie is out 🔥
Weg is the name of the devil horns

@Ashley Penn oooh yeah that would make sense actually i like that idea

@@ayushj6216 which is why I said it's similar but not exactly the same. But like Henry's, it probably stems from some sort of curse.
I believe there is something about the nature of Asta. Because when Zagred activates a spell that can drains life force, but Asta doesn't seem to be affected
Nah honestly nacht and yami are two sides of the same coin both are blunt and they dont accept failure from the black bulls
