Because Men are held to the highest standards with requirements. A man are required to earn his way up to be worthy as a person. Women are not and it's optional for them. Women are born with value. It's important for a woman to preserve her value until she is married to a worthy man. A man is held accountable at all times for their own actions. If he seeks a relationship with someone's daughter in a marriage. He is held accountable to provide and protect her at all cost. As well as Lead the marriage relationship to prosper. Even if he makes mistakes along the way. A wife must have patience and forgiveness because he isn't a perfect person. Women aren't held in the same standards to do so for men in return. If his wife cheats. He is assuming too blame for it before hand because he did not take the initiative to lead his own marriage properly. I know her husband was in the wrong, but this story still makes me very sad. I genuinely think he was truly sorry, but it's just unfortunate that it was too late for forgiveness. I know she means well and eventually have to move on with life, but I think if it were me I'd still be broken hearted just because of how everything turned out.
