Could you explain why people use the 2.9ah 75c cells? I would think the 20ah 35c cells would be a more cost-effective bank. Doubling you ah should in turn almost double your c rating. Or at least the 10ah 75c cells. Just seems like a shit load of cells for 30ah vs 18cells with the 10ah 75c cells.
I've been contacting a lot of people here lately researching these and other cells trying to find the absolute best cells on the market and apparently the 2.9 AH cells are the ones that are actually 75c they have a 75c rating on the 10AH cells as well but that is a burst discharge rating not continuous discharge rate like the 2.9AH cells I myself purchased this same bank from NORTHWEST LITHIUM because of the exact reason states above the actual 75c rating instead of a burst discharge rating
Awesome video. I've never seen one of these put together until now. I have a 320 Brand X alt and charge at 14.8v I'm currently using Headway but was curious to know what other lithium banks are available in my charging range?
I got these cells from sriko. Got the diy kit comes with everything. Just wanted to know if spacers a really needed becuase sriko does not include spacers with this kit

I seen your charging video on this lithium battery. How exactly do i charge each individual cell? Up to how many volts should i charge it too and also how many amps do i set it too since its a small cell?
That’d take forever lol If cells are close together in voltage they should be fine to assemble. 2.54 2.55 2.56 just example. Then charge bank. If cells are not that close then top balance them. Subscribe to the channel and feel free to ask any questions
@808patanderson ok so to top balance them wouldn't that require running wire in parallel all positive and all negative to each cell which is 60 total cells that would also take a long time doing . @808patanderson will that bank u built on this video be good for 8,000-10,000 watts with a 260 amp alternator? Also I seen they say the scib work good from 14.4-16.2 volts. So I wouldn't be good at around 14.8?

You could try to slow charge it individually and see if it holds but I’d say it’s a bad cell. Easier to get a new one to replace it now than when it’s installed.
Non pedestal. Pedestal cells have a slightly bigger stud so could probably carry a little more current in theory but have the same rating. Pedestal bars cost twice as much
The only video on the same cells. Wtf car audio people. Thanks for showing a build.
Hey, how much pounds of pressure do you use to tighten the nuts? Also, what do you use to build a case in out of?
Thanks
