your so right it is a greatly under-rated album, i still play Max Q all the time, definately one of my favourite albums ever! (plus michael looks as hot as ever in the interviews!) thanks for putting up this great footage! x

He wanted to leave INXS after the Kick album and I believe this is something he sould have done. The X album was pretty good though, but after they started to decline. The other band members seemed not to synchronize with the music tendencies. The MaxQ project was brilliant, progressive, fresh, and went well by the critics. The sales is another issue...among other factors, INXS's manager Chris Murphy prevented Michael from doing a solo career. If he had followed his will, he will be with us today.

Is it really like you say? He wanted to leave Inxs? He was loyal to his friends much more loyal than many other, they builded Inxs together. Michael was a megastar and had an promising acting career. He could easyly gone solo after the Kick album. Im not really sure he wanted to leave. The guy was a pure rebell so for me it sound strange.
The director of Frankenstein Unbound said something like, Hutch was a pure talent he was stunned when he saw his skills.

To prawda,jeśli wybrałby solową karierę,żyłby do dzisiaj.Tworzyłby fantastyczne utwory, niczym nieskrępowane, zespół nic by na nim nie wymuszał.

but tell me, why do you think that Gahan got corrupted? i don't care about Bono but i'm big fan of DM and Dave's solo projects and you answer really interests me.
