Thanks mate. It really did nearly kill me. I was battered after. 25 years old! Jesus I’m twice your age! I should make the most of your knees whilst they’re still in the game, it’s all downhill after 30 🤣
@@Moosemears I’m not surprised! Well I’m already getting some inner knee pain :(, just want to get out there and ride with no pain. Probably as I’m new to MTBing and haven’t optimised my seat position
Is it all still clearly signposted? We did the beast in 2019, and we’re going back this weekend. The official page doesn’t list the beast or MBR anymore
@@Moosemears I can imagine. We’re not on e-bikes and if I remember it took us a good 4.5 hours. Looking forward to it though. Your video made bits look fermiliar.
@davidreed9767 Fair play. I might’ve got round it on an analogue bike a few years ago but not now. I’m too old and fat. From what I’m told the MBR trail is probably the better one to do as it has all the good sections of the beast without all the fire road climbs 🤷♂️
Defo didn’t mean it. I just had a sad on because I was so knackered 🤣 albeit I have to say, if I was to go back I wouldn’t do “The Beast” apparently the MBR trail has all the good bits without the endless fire road climbs.
love your edits..
Great sense of humour 😂
Thank you. Although my sense of humour had failed at the end of that ride!
still funny as it reminds me of myself 😅😅😅
Brilliant as always, look forward to the next adventure
Thanks mate. Antur Stiniog up next.
Nice video man, this would kill me off. Im new to MTB and feel like my knees are already painful and I'm only 25 lol

@dendrow2930 👍 Best get that seating position dialled in and hopefully that’ll stop the pain then.
@@Moosemears hoping so mate

Yeah as far as I remember it’s pretty well signed. My memory is a bit blurred as I was blowing out of my arse 🤣

Such a shit place to ride, needs some off piste enduro trails
I quite enjoyed it apart from the climbing but I’m sure there’s plenty of off piste stuff there. Just need a local to give you a guided tour.
