Seth and I are saying goodbye to Colorado for now, and HELLOOOOOO UTAH!!!
But first I gotta take care of Sheila....
It's time for Outterbike, one of the biggest mtb festivals of the year out in Moab Utah, and Seth and I are heading over to check it out for our first time. When Outterbike descends upon Moab, the small town becomes an all out zoo with people coming from all over the world to get their adrenaline on in all different manners.
Seth and I prefer the two wheel variety, so we made our way straight to the dirt jumps to meet up with our RUclips homie Nate Hills for some evening sessions with some locals and Patrons alike.
The next day we was jam packed with fun starting with checking out Outterbike and meeting up with all sorts of awesome friends, new and old, for a good time before heading out for some offroad fun jeeping!!
Hang tight because Seth is driving, so you KNOW it's going to be a bumpy ride!

A 5 out of 10 Jeep trail is perfect for those that don't have deep pockets and don't want to break their Wrangler. If your Wrangler is also your daily driver keep the trails at 5 or below.
lolol yea I couldn't believe how tough even the 5 was! I would probably not take my own vehicle out there... like you said, gotta have the deep pockets!
Haven’t finished the video yet, so sorry if this is already discussed, but having a tire pit like that is usually a sign that your shock is bad. Have a look at it and see if there is oil leaking from where the shock shaft goes in to the tube. It’s a fairly easy/inexpensive fix and will save you from going through more tires.
Bradley Castaneda I was originally thinking that that corner might be toed-in (or out), but that does seem more plausible. STS -check out KYB Excel-G struts

your bike takes a lot of abuse, but it looks like it held up quite well, maybe I should get a specialized, I like the double jointed pivots.
Not decided on a bike yet, there are some other interesting bikes too,Nikolai, Transition, still will do more research.

2:40 - I've been suggesting the Ford Transit for a while. I really have no particular reason to go with this model, except that I happen to like Ford. Chevy's good, too. Whatever you end up with, do your homework. And whatever you end up buying, make sure you get it checked out by a competent mechanic BEFORE buying. I'd hate to see you get a lemon.
2:53 - I have never seen anyone jump by lifting the back wheel first. Nice trick. 😉
3:36 - So I recently purchased a brand new bike helmet, which means my current focus on the kinds of things I notice on other bikes and riders is what they're wearing on their heads. I say that to give context as to why I might be asking this random question. So, is that a Giro Montaro that you and Seth are sporting? I'm going to assume you like it since, well, you're wearing it. Do you have any thoughts on it?

Do you remember the scene at the beginning of the movie where Tom Hanks' character is being taken out to a an island or something and the engine little boat he chartered conks out? The owner of the boat jumps into the water and starts swimming to shore and says he's going to get the little boat. Tom Hanks shouts out "The LITTLE boat?" Because he's already in a tiny boat. Yeah, that's kind of what I thought when you said "This is baby stuff".
You know what? I really loved this video. Mainly because, even though your channel is all about mountain biking, it's very refreshing to see a video that actually doesn't have mountain biking in it. Because this gives us more insight into who you are. It's weird, we've never met (some day I hope to remedy that), and yet I'm very interested in your adventures. Here's to you, Alex. You're doing well, my friend. Keep up the good work and keep your dreams alive.
Also, I really am curious who those other people in the jeep were. It seems like there was at least two other people, but maybe there was just one (and I have a strong suspicion that person was Seth's wife).

The guys and gals out at skydive Moab are super legit their midweek discount is a pretty good deal and if you tell them you ride portal and other crazy trails like that they call you the crazy one
If your tires are cupping, most likely your overloaded and on the bottom of the stroke of your rear shocks

Sounds like an alignment issue with rear wheels on car if it is both wheels. Can look into getting it checked and a cost to fix.
I already got it fixed, but I appreciate it! I think it really just comes down to how much weight I have back there...
