by 1982, adawa came for a play at a funeral ceremony in a village about 11 Kms to my school and school authority locked the gate and conducted attendance taking at 10 pm and another by 4 am following morning. but alas, we broke the rule to watch adawa play. departing the school at 10:30 pm and returning 3:00am to present ourselves for 4 am roll call.
What a heros. I can't really explain how i'm feeling when I listen to legends like Ebenezer obey, I.K Dairo, Sunny Ade, Dele Abiodun, Sir Shina Adewale Oldies.

Wow Nigeria which way we are going?????
Admiral Dele Abiodun music was one of the best juju music that rocks 70's and early 80's when we were teenagers then. I always like playing his music when lying on bed to sleep, that gives me sound and glorious deep sleep and listening it while half sleep oh my God...
Admiral Dele Abiodun is a musical legend. I'm schooling my children on his songs so they can learn about contemporary yoruba music and imbibe the rich culture of our people. Kudos to Adawa super King!
