No ego, no attention. Nothing about transfer, nothing about a contract nothing about positions in the pitch. He kept himself grounded and worked hard. Sad to hear about this. Rest in peace.
Forever the perfect example of what a Liverpool player should be, he raised the bar very high, even when his body couldn't keep up, we needes his input. A legend was born today, a real one, one that will mean so much forever on.YNWA
thats right!
thats why it is killing us Liverpool fans
am almost in tears every while
So true. 😢
What's wrong with attention? And transfer or contract? That just means they are trying to get their worth. You rather the owners and billionaires get more money from doing nothing??? 🤏🧠🤦 Make no sense
@@raymondqiu8202not time for politics, it means that the man valued glory, work, family and humility more than material gains, and by living like that the material gains came as a blessing, because he deserved it. The fact that your head went straight to billionaires says more about you than what this moment really means. God bless you, and may he welcome you into his reign.
woke up and this was the first thing i saw everywhere. it ruined my morning, has ruined my day and i can only begin to imagine just a fraction of how many lives it has ruined too. imagine his wife’s, children’s, parents’… and i don’t have any more words than to say: we will miss you Diogo. I hope your soul rests in perfect peace. what a player you were. and what a man you will always be in our hearts ❤🕊️
I know we sometimes see eye to eye and other times we bicker on here. But I know you are a Liverpool supporter and this is awful news. I always liked Jota and it was a shame he was injured so frequently. It really hid how good he actually was when healthy. Terrible loss and we are all feeling it at some level.
Destroyed me
@@Upper90FC we do, and so i appreciate that mate. ty

As a United fan and football fan in general , this news devastated me. Can't imagine what Liverpool and Portugal fans are going through. The fact that he just won nations league , EPL and got married makes this even more tragic.
Rest in Peace. He died a premier league champion
... And he Passed as a Liverpool Favorite.
We Are Heartbroken as Fans😢
He won the nations league in Munich at his last match
He was a great man and father pure soul. Forget football this means more
He literally died a champion of his club and country and was a champion to his wife and children. SIP King
He died a loving father, husband and son. May he rest in peace
From a city fan this is tragic. We mourn with you Liverpool.
We saw the wonderful and touching tribute from the Manchester City family. Thank you so much again!💗

@@laolle How hypocritically) How many footballers dead by russian terrorists in Ukraine? Do you know how many? Could you name at least one footballer? So what unites you? Not football. Just money of biggest clubs united you, relax, be honest :)
This hits me harder bc i lost my dad in 1995 in car crash, he was 28 too and i was 4. I am 34 now and i think about his kids, going through the same thing i did, growing up without using the word: Dad, and feeling kinda stuck in my childhood mind. Sure in terms of money his family is set for life, but still.
Thanks for sharing. ❤ Appreciate your perspective. Rest in peace Jota and your dad

Chin up bro, I’m sure you’ve become a great man over the years, but I totally understand you.. am/was in the same boat.
Much love to you and thanks for sharing. It's never easy to lose family... My heart breaks for his new wife and his children. I see my son and can't begin to imagine him losing me. So sad, I just can't hardly believe it... YNWA ❤😢
Talking about money, I really hope Liverpool pays out his family the rest of the money owed.
I dont want to believe it. What a great player I loved watching him. 🇵🇹
me neither
You don't have to believe it
The poor parents of Diogo and Andre, are suffering the most unimaginable emotional pain. Outliving all their children. My heartfelt condolences go out to them, as well as the rest of their family and friends, Liverpool FC and their supporters. Rest in eternal peace. 🥀🥀🥀🖤
I've had a Bad Day hearing this News, an I don't Support Liverpool...Gutted for he's Wife an 3 Children an he's Mom an Dad 😢

My brother passed last Sunday and now Jota has died. As a LFC fan, i cannot bear this pain anymore😞😞

So sorry for your brother's passing as well. I pray for your family as they experience this period of mourning.

Beautifully enunciated by Ale Moreno ... a very sad day for all ... especially his family.

He said it best. Stevie and Keller were lost for words and just said the same troupes
Diego was a person who always seemed happy on the pitch, always gave his all and never seemed to give any negativity. Such a great player also. Sad that Diego and Andre, such talented young men, had such a short time on earth. Cannot imagine what the Jota family are experiencing right now.
It's Diogo, come on it's written in the title...
@@Nhilzerffs not the time to nitpick someone’s spelling !
U.S. Liverpool supporter here. Watching Mo play brought me to the team but once I started watching and supporting, I discovered a club made up of great players and great people. Diogo was one of my favorites. Whenever Diogo stepped on the pitch, you just knew a goal was likely to follow. And he always had a smile on his face. I'm looking forward to the coming campaign but no matter how the season plays out, it won't be the same without the lad from Portugal. To his family, YNWA.
Absolutely heartbroken 💔 rest easy mate
Our lad from Portugal, epitome of what it meant to play for Liverpool. Ran his socks off, battled for every ball, never shied away and always wanted the ball and took responsibility when it mattered. Red forever, immortalised by the club and fan base his name will live on in the kop every week on the 20th minute until his grankids get to hear it and say that’s my grandad! Absolute legend, winner, champion, scouser! Our lad from Portugal, better than Figo don’t you know.
His name was Diogooooooo.
This gave me chills ❤❤. Beautifully said
That’s exactly how I described him at Wolves. He just never ever ever quit on a ball let alone a play.
@@s_0007_1His name IS DIOGO
Diogo Jota may not always steal the headlines,
but he always steals the moment.
A quiet warrior with a killer instinct-
his goals spoke louder than words.
Every time he wore the red shirt,
he gave everything for the badge.
Sharp. Relentless. Underrated.
Jota is the kind of player every team needs
and every opponent fears.
Obrigado, Jota - for the passion,
the precision, and the unforgettable moments.
You’ll never walk alone. ❤️
Woke at 430am & I went on FB. The 1st thing I saw was Diogo Jota 30mins ago from that time & I thought it was fake. I went on Twitter & I was soo wrong, it hit me hard. I couldn't believe it was true. From 430am to now, I couldn't stop checking. I'm a Manchester United fan, but to his family & Diogo himself, "You'll Never Walk Alone!"
I thought it was fake as well... only to see it later in the day and saw it all
I can't imagine as a father losing two kids in a instance , I can't imagine the wife, the kids, and everyone close to them. Another example is that life is precious and should be respected.
Was at work, went on my break and opened up Reddit soccer forum. That’s when I saw a post from Ronaldo and an image of Diogo Jota. Had straight shivers going down my spine, Im still in disbelief.
Silent wonderful player, may he and his brother silva rest in peace
I really hope Díaz and Nunez both stay at Liverpool after Jota’s death. I think it would be beautifully fitting if they both stayed another year at Liverpool and played in Jota’s honor. And it would be poetry to see Díaz score at Anfield and raise Jota’s jersey in his honor. Just like Jota did for Díaz after he scored at Anfield when Diaz’s father was kidnapped.
Would be even better if Joe Gomez did it. Don't mind Diaz though.
Diaz yes but not Nunez. Nunez sucks.
@@PolarBearVolcanoCan't see Nunez being sold now unless a ridiculous offer comes in
I was thinking the same thing, do not sell nunez and diaz, jota was special to them brothers 😢
There’s more to life than the game of football, there’s the game of life and to quantify or deem that players should stay for your selfish purposes is actually disgusting even coming from a Liverpool fan. It hasn’t even been 24 hours since this has happened and you’re using his life as a bargaining tool to justify players who actually know him and interacted with him to stay. The world is a wicked place sometimes.
its the worst for his and his brothers family.
thankfully they will get the support they need.
but its still bad for us fans who just enjoyed him as a player and personality in the sport.
of course our pain is nothing compared to his wife and kids.
but our pain is still real.
he didnt know us.
but we knew him.
the fact he was such an avid fifa player, like alot of us, made him so relatable.
he had millions in the bank and the glamorous wife and the lifestyle and (unfourtunatley) the car.
but his celerbration of crossing his legs and picking up a pad reminded us all of ourselves.
im 41 and i think this is the saddest ive ever been at a celebrities death.
cant remember the last time i cried over a famous person.
its hit us all hard.
so for gods sakes try and be nice to each other this season guys.
we are all in it together.
football is our hobby.
we are rivals not enemies.
like i say theres plenty of people giving condolences and support to his family, and rightfully so.
but id like to say condolences to any footie fans hurt by this tradgedy.
it sucks so bad.
goodbye diogo mate.
you made us all smile.
YNWA.
May your Soul rest in Heaven . You'll be greatly missed !

Genuinely couldn’t believe this when I first saw it this morning. Absolutely gutting.
As a player - so unique and so talented. 2 footed, amazing in the air for a player his size, devastating finisher, so hard working, could play anywhere up top at a good level, and a champion.
As a person - he seemed to be a massive family man genuinely loved by everyone he came into contact with, and that’s not perceived from the tributes we’ve heard today, that’s the perception I’ve had of him for years.
This Liverpool squad are incredibly close to one another and I’ve no doubt they’ll all be there for the family and for each other.
Ever since I heard about Jota's tragic death. My whole head is around him and his brother and his family. What a down to earth, talented, and a loving family man he was. YNWA DJ20

The "world" is devastated. How will the "world" process this enormous loss.
The "world" mourns this tragic loss of a specific life (+ another).
The "world" is reeling...
As I am sobbing here listening to this coverage for the immense love that I had for Diogo, even in his early days with Wolves, as a father and grandfather I cannot stop thinking that how irresponsible it was for him, based on the reports, to have been driving at such speed leading to such tragedy. You young fathers, your life is no longer is yours. Your responsibilities are immense. Your life is no longer just yours. You belong to your partner and your kids. Just set aside foolishness of younger years and live, work, party, and drive responsibly.
I LOVE YOU DIOGO, not because of being a good player, but much more importantly because of your work ethics. My loss pales in comparison with the loss that your family feels.
I will always be your fan!
It was his brother driving. Doing a pass on other car and the tire burst..
