- Learn how to easily convert an Adobe PDF file to a Microsoft Word file.
I use Microsoft Word that comes with Office 365 to do the conversion. The conversion maintains all images, tables, and text. The new Word file is editable.

I had to go a different route, via
the 'file' box. However, I just wanted to
copy paste some text from a manual
and though it converted ok, I was not
able to copy text. I hope you have better
luck with whatever you want to get done.

However, some of my files are not well supported. Finally, I used PDF to Word tools to help me deal with them, such as Geekersoft PDF to Word, SmallPDF, etc.

We also have to take into account that, although PDF files can be converted to Word documents, the authors of the PDF documents can also set permissions that won't allow the content to be re-used or re-edited in Word and other applications.
In this case, you can use some external tools to directly convert to real word, such as geekersoft pdf to word, a free tool

Wow, wish I would have found this first...Went through a million converters that needed sign in information and they all failed. Acrobat couldn't even do it correctly, which I also paid for. Literally dropped it in and it worked perfect. Appreciate it.

Word can also load PDF files. Simply open the PDF in Word ;-)

@@krystalkomoll2607 The only apps available in "open with" option are Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, Firefox, Google Chrome and Edge.
