    Will we need to do any conversions from the metric to English system or English to metric? Also, do we only write numbers for the littles fill in the blank questions?

    What is the answers for the last two questions?

    • @rnsteffanie914
      @rnsteffanie914  4 года назад +6

      240mg = 0.00024kg and 0.6mL = 0.0006L

    • @iMaGiNaTiOnWpAsSiOn
      @iMaGiNaTiOnWpAsSiOn 4 года назад

      RN Steffanie thank you for the response! For the 240mg, I got 0.000240. Should I have removed the zero at the end?

    • @rnsteffanie914
      @rnsteffanie914  4 года назад +1

      You’re correct either way but you can remove the last zero so it doesn’t confuse you. Remember that 3.0 is the same as 3. You will have multiple choice answers on the exam so you can pick the closest answer if anything. Hope this helps! All the best as you study as well.

    • @iMaGiNaTiOnWpAsSiOn

      RN Steffanie thank you again! I really appreciate you taking the time to respond back.
      One last question (hopefully this can help someone else who may have learned the same way as me). Math Dude on RUclips says an alternative way of solving these are to either divide by 1000 (if you’re starting with a smaller unit) or multiply by 1000 (if the number for the unit you’re given is larger).
      If I try to solve both problems you have and either divide or multiply by 1000, I don’t get the same answer. With that being said, I have had other problems where KHDBDCM vs the divide/multiply method conflicted in answers.

    • @rnsteffanie914
      @rnsteffanie914  4 года назад +3

      You’re welcome! Dividing or multiplying by 1000 works when you’re converting to or from a base unit(meter, liter, gram). It used to confuse me and that’s why I stuck to KHDBDCM. As you study, you can always use google as reference to check if your answers are right. This method hasn’t failed me yet so I’m sure it will help you with questions pertaining to those base units. I will also make another conversion video and I hope I’ve answered your question as well.
