Hi Ed, I just realized I didn't respond to this. I wouldn't believe the chart. But that said I recommend entering and exiting between 2-3 hours before and after high tide. I did run aground because I didn't pay attention to my own advice. There is also a big rock on the left side of the channel that I discovered the hard way. The entrance should be over on the right of the channel. But other than that rock the bottom is all sand or mud and so running aground is no big deal. Give it a try! Thanks again for commenting. Great video! The chart shows 1’ at the entrance and 0.5’ in the ‘pond’. Is that accurate - will you bottom out at low tide?
