@@jsjoutdoors466 i hit the Ozarks rivers pretty frequently throughout the summer with my SCUBA gear and dive all the holes i can find. Great video guys. Looking forward to some more river time this summer.
Just did similar trip a few months ago. Did cedar Grove to logyard over five days and one day in Jack's fork. Try eleven point River if you haven't already.
Wes Huber I bet that was a fun trip. We also just completed a 60 mile trip on the Big Piney River in Missouri. Eleven Point River is on our list of rivers to float for sure!

Definitely between the current river and the eleven point River.I've done the current river since I was fifteen but I'm starting to try and Branch out and do other rivers now. The 11-point was just fast-moving and a lot of curves and that's what I really like a lot of action going on
Awesome, I want to take my son on one of these overnight trips. I'm going to do a bit of research before I go though, I don't want to end up eating bugs
We honestly learned a lot from this trip. The current river is a super great river that naturally flows fast. We see where the name “Current River” comes from. It’s not like we were in a rush the whole time, as you can see we took our time and saw some of the many natural springs. We have learned it can be difficult to find places/trees that can hold 4 hammocks and are spaced evenly and not in a completely wooded/brushy area. This being our 3rd year there’s nothing really that we wish we would’ve brought that we haven’t already. You can fit only so much in 3 canoes. While a tent and sleeping bag is desirable, it takes up a ton of space when food and hydration is our main priority. To answer your last question, we didn’t want to “settle” on a below par camp spot, and honestly we liked the idea of canoeing in the pitch black. We thought it’d be a cool experience and we were right!
The river can definitely be dangerous after a storm. We learned that on our last trip on the Big Piney River. You should check out that video after we post it in a few days.
What month did you do this? I see the video was posted in Aug, but wasn't sure how quickly it was after the trip. I am thinking of doing something similar and just trying to decide which month is best. Love the video.
Thank you! We took this trip on August 10-12 of last summer. I did some research before the trip and it seemed that the water levels within the area we did were fine anytime from May to September. I will say that the cool water goes nicely with the hot sun though! Haha

Last time I went on a river it was bad because we went after a storm and the water was fast and we flipped
