I've seen so many videos of Atsushi driving--it's nice to hear his actual voice! This conversion set looks pretty cool. Breathes some new life into an older chassis.
正吖! I also bought this a few weeks ago in the UK. Quite expensive though, but it is nice to look at. One thing to remember, in the video and photo it shows a purple colour servo horn, this is not included in the "Magenta" kit, so you will have to buy this separately to match your servo teeth count. 😊👍🏼
個紫色鋁合金真係好靚! 希望跑起嚟都會有出色嘅表現啦! 順便提醒一下，套Magenta kit係可以調較前後camber，而唔可以調較後toe-in。不過我唸對尾杯應該係已經set咗2° toe-in，唔啱請指正！😊👍🏼

@FourDollaRacing LOL, I would agree with you to a certain extent. I would have said the same before getting my hands on this kit. However, after looking into this kit, the only items that don't really add performance and mainly for look are just the battery and the front bumper plate. The rear 2° toe-in cups are perfect for running motors up to 13.5T, anything faster, I would prefer a 3°. The front would allow you to set the camber and toe-in, just not the caster angles. The front and rear bulkheads provide rigidity for the diffs as well as the carbon suspension mounts, which are crucial for the shocks to ensure they are compressed correctly. The aluminium centre propeller shaft minimises shaft twist when using fast motor, the standard plastic one is perfect for torque tune, sport tune and even 21.5T and 17.5T. Anything faster will require the aluminium shaft to drive efficiently. It is a shame that the kit doesn't provide you with the propeller shaft cups, doesn't make sense to use the default ones since you are changing to aluminium shaft. 🤔
I would still recommend this kit, as it would cost more to buy those parts separately. It is fair to say this Magenta kit is more suitable for people with the standard TT-02 kit as opposed to someone who own a TT-02 Type S, Type R, Type SR, Type RR and Type SRX. Tamiya themselves have used this similar approach, adding all the aluminium and carbon parts to their famous TA-08 Pro and called it the TA-08R.
The purposely made Shelf-Queen and for collections will be the "Team Associated TC7.2CC clear kit". 😅👍🏼
