Gday all, I absolutely love my new Jai Changer, thanks to Jai, Rumball and everyone who tagged me for making this happen. Let me know if you'd like me to give one of these away in future and if you are from outside Australia is the tap connection looks similar. To check out the other options available or to reach out the Jai see here; facebook.com/jaichangeraquatics You wont go wrong, save your backs!
When you said it was something to make all our lives easier I thought it was a bag of elves who did water changes while everyone was in bed. That Jai changer's a close second but. About time someone came up with a manufactured version of that system. Great work Jai, looks like a quality build and a great product.
I have 2 of these that my son kindly bought for me. For someone with so many tanks and a back and shoulder problem, it's been a game changer. Highly recommended 👍🏼
So good to see this product getting out there. I remember I told a Perth cichlid society member about this ages ago & when I got mine and how happy I was with it and it literally saved my back.Plus Now in the space of a few weeks 2 you tubers i like are plugging it. Great work Blake and Jai
Great to see a quality Aussie fish channel promoting quality Aussie products. Nothing worse than watching a video and going "Ooh, I want that!" and then realising you gotta ship it from the US 😆 Keep up the good work mate, your vids help a lot 🤙🏼
on all the facebook groups all everyone ever talks about in relation to water changes is the jai changer haha it looks great. I only have 1 tank that id use one on but man... jai changer is really appealing when im 3 hours in and lugging buckets around
I love my Jai Changer 👍 I only have two 80L tanks but due to chronic illness I was really struggling with water changes. The Jai Changer has been a game changer for me. Jai worked with me to get the exact size that worked best for my tanks. Absolutely 100% recommend Jai and the Jai Changer 🤩
I definitely need one of these. I've been doing it the wrong way with buckets on my 200 litre cichlid tank and I have a bad back too. This would be a game changer 👍
Hi Keith - just clarifying, this is different from the python as it doesn’t rely on the Venturi principal right? You still need to commence the siphon process by sucking on the end of hose?
Hey mate I have a solution to the hose connection for the U.S Send me a message through the jai changer Facebook page and I would he more than happy to sort you out
Well you already know I'm outside of Australia!! But I would love to see my friends and fellow RUclipsrs have an opportunity of getting one of these!! I think they're pretty awesome!! Thanks for sharing Blake I hope you and your family are having a blessed day ❤️🙏🌿🐟🌿
Absolutely stoked with the review mate. So glad you are happy with the product. I am so so grateful for the growing review. I am very proud to be able to make a product that ensured people get to enjoy the hobby that little bit more. For anyone wanting more info or to order, click on the Facebook link and send me a message through the Jai Changer page. facebook.com/jaichangeraquatics/ Happy Fish Keeping Legends 😁
It would have been really helpful to me to see an actual demonstration of it in use. I can’t tell how you would use it with a gravel vac, for instance.

@@GeoffYates Yeah I'd say so
Hey that's pretty cool! Great channel Blake.
Thanks for watching
I would definitely be interested if this was available in the US. Giveaway would be awesome too.
Great video and product, amazing give away.
Looks like a real time saver.
Definitely!
Thank you! Do you think I can find it in a store in Romania?
you could make one or try to convince him to ship one international for you
I am happy to discuss international shipping
I would love one of these! Just wondering if the hose connection works with hoses in the US. 🤔 If so, I would like to get one.
Yeah he has figured it out to ship to the US and use your connections

Sounds great! you too Mary :)
I'm happy for anyone to contact me in regards to one
I want a Jai Changer!
Where did you get the Gardena tap convertor from?? Bunnings?
Absolutely, where else haha
@@BlakesAquatics ok cool will head down there. I got my Jai water changer a few weeks ago
Very timely. I'm starting to run into time issue with only four tanks and it will only get worse as time goes on.
You wont look back, not sure if he ships international but im sure he would if asked nicely enough 😄
@@BlakesAquatics I guess I will find out. :)
I have made my own version but still learning how to bend the pvc and not just use a couple elbows. He still has me beat there. :P
bit of an artform for sure!
What about dechlorination
Dose the tank to the full volume of water prior to start re-filling.
Yeah i just sprinkle some seachem safe in before filling
Going to be getting one for my new tank. What gravel vac do you recommend to go with it?
Whichever one you already have 😄 they are all the same in principle. If the tube is a bit tight heat it up to loosen things up
Absolutely stoked with the review mate.

Where can I order this? Thanks
Hey mate i pinned a comment with the link 👍
@@BlakesAquatics Thank you. Im in the Philippines and the tap connector shouldn’t be an issue. Great product indeed!
Cool stuff!
Wait do u run the tap to drain the water as well? This is super dope! 🤙🏼💯
You can or you can just take the hose off the tap and itll start an instant syphon
@@BlakesAquatics thank you!
Can i please have the link for the Gardena tap attachment?

Shut up and take my money! Lol that is brilliant please send to the US!! Mass production!!
Hahaha more than happy to!
A giveaway would be a great idea.
I think a giveaway would be a great idea blake
I use a 20 dollar pond pump and an 8 dollar hose. Not a bucket is lifted.
Nice one, i used to do that but too messy moving it tank to tank, water went everywhere and i got sick of unplugging and replugging it in
It would have been really helpful to me to see an actual demonstration of it in use. I can’t tell how you would use it with a gravel vac, for instance.
Connect the pvc tube end that water usually goes out of into a bucket onto the barbed fitting and use it as normal
I would love to get my hand on one of these ... but alas I’m in the US ... looks much better than a python
I reckon it could be worthwhile twisting his arm if you ask nicely 😄
Hapoy to ship to the US
I hope you do a giveaway! I'd love to have a Jai Changer! :)
Jai has been watching md fishtanks
Who?
@@jaihunt6233 md fish tanks.. he's a RUclipsr he's made and been using a waterchanger like yours for a very long time now.
@@craigquinn8225 oh yeah nice.
Yeah mate heaps of people habe done DIY's before me. None with the unique registered design of the Jai Changer 👌
How do I buy this?
Unfortunately he has stopped making them
No Worries. Thank you very much for the update.
Shell dwellers at 8:28: OI! >:(
Haha feisty little fellas they are
Sadly don't have a 50 foot hose to run to a drain...
Poke it out a window maybe?
I happy to discuss options for you. Send me a message through the Jai Changer Facebook page mate
How does this compare to a python?
I dont have a python to know sorry.
