I'm a new Christian and I have to say I am so shocked at how we've rejected the Biblical feasts when they so clearly point to Jesus, but we do engage in the man made pagan holidays. We need to get back to the Bible!
Wow! Now I know when the when Jesus said "who touched me?" when the woman with the issue of blood grabbed His cloak, it meant so much more than we are taught! I always wondered.. ❤
although it is absolutely correct to say that Jesus is 100% Jewish, it is incorrect to say that he is not 'Christian'. He is in fact, the very first Christian; by his baptism in the Jordan River, he instituted Christian baptism, born again in water and Spirit, and baptism finds completion through him at his Resurrection. So finally, not only is Jesus the perfect embodiment of the Law, the perfect son of Abraham, Son of Man, Son of David, and Messiah, by him, through him and in him, in his institution of baptism in the Jordan River and its completion in the Resurrection, he is also the first and perfect Christian, he set his life as an example for us, a perfect example for all men to follow.
The rejection of Judaism amongst Christians began with the Councils of Nicea, which occurred between 500 and 600 AD. Study it! Up until then, becoming a Christian was a sedgeway into Judaism. Galatians 3:29 seems to embrace that notion.
I can't believe the "pastor" said that Jesus wasn't Jewish. What Bible doesn't clearly show that? Anyway thanks for this blessed teaching. I'm trying to teach this to my church. Pray for me.
So true true true! Can't say anything more than that

“Christian” means “little Christ”…. It doesn’t make sense to say that Jesus was “little Christ”.
how can we make the first fruit? and exactly when?
Jesus is the first fruits. We are not under that.

Jewish means of the tribe of Judah. To fulfill prophesy he had to be Jewish.
Jesus was God in the flesh. The feast days and Sabbath days weren't for us. We ARE under the new covenant.

barb sommerville he didn’t say Jesus was not Jewish. He said Jesus was not Christian. Big difference
Christians are the true Israel, not the Synagogue of Satan. I love you brother but worship of enemies of the Gospel is sinful at best.
One serious problem! Jesus was not JEWISH! You folks amaze me.
Galatians 4:4....born under the law.
