very insightful. thank you very much!
You're welcome!
Love You From Nepal
wow, u have made SAT Math look so easy
i'mma use this app in whole math section.
Hey in some questions I think using desmos take more time while in other using desmos savetime. So we should use desmos only to solve thise question which we can't solve manually don't know them to solve manuall like 2x=4 can be solved manually easily but not a complex equation.
🎉Thanks for helping in desmos now I am more confident for dsat.
I agree! Knowing when to use Desmos and when not to use it comes with a lot of practice. I don't have a video on this, but Settle Tutoring does:

I hope this helps!
@@Tutorllini thankyou
Thanks a lot for your videos. They are very helpful
You're very welcome!
I like your cut G. Thanks for the video
You're welcome!
for the first question, couldnt you just put in mean(43,45,44,43,38,39,40,40,46, x), and plug in values for x until you get an integer less than 60 but makes the mean > 42?
Absolutely! I just think the picture helps. Don't use x though, you need to use another letter say "a" to plug in values. Like this:
www.desmos.com/calculator/klb4sacvka
You can even set the bounds to 43 to 59 and the step to 1 (for integers). Hope this helps!
thankyou! you are a life saver
You're welcome!
Thanks for this man
You're welcome!
Really helpful! But I was wondering, are videos with desmos going to come out in the future or not? Because on 11th of March I am taking a Digital SAT exam
I will make more Desmos videos as quickly as I can. Might be after March 11. Thanks for your patience!
Recommending after BMPS
Will you upload number #14 before 11th of March, just curious xD. My exam is on Saturday and your Desmos videos have been super helpful. Thanks a lot
Sorry friend, I can't. I will upload more before the May test!
@@Tutorllini No worries , these videos have been extremely helpful
Thank you for everything ❤️
No problem!
Thank you for your videos!!!
You're welcome!!!
love the buzz cut
Thanks!
you are a savior man... kudos to you💖💖💖
Thanks for your kind words!
wow I got a 60 points after watching these videos up to this video
In 2nd question, when I graph f(x) > 42, it is not the same as y > 42..Aren't their meanings the same? Can you tell me why it happens
You are the goat
For the last question, why did you add 3 values of x (1,16,41) when they said there are 5 integers with two of them being x? Aren't we just supposed to take the sum of 2 values in that case?
It doesn't ask "add the two values x forms in one of your lists". It asks "sum of ALL POSSIBLE values of x."
10,12,26,1,1
10,12,26,16,16
10,12,26,41,41
will all yield the same mean and median. See for yourself!
x=1, 16, or 41
sum= 1+16+41 = 58
Hope this helps!
Really helpful, thank you so much:)
You're very welcome!
i like the cut g
Thanks man!
I don't know or is it my laptop. The points are not showing and my calculator is not as big as yours. It's giving me a hard time. Especially learning this mean .qstn 3. The table points are not showing and that black Mark is on .
Feel free to share a link to your Desmos graph!
I just checked a couple of RUclips videos on how to share the graph but the sat graph does not have the share function on it like the ones i saw.😭
@@precious5264 Just use it in a web browser then?
www.desmos.com/calculator
I couldn't understand the first example of DSAT application ( word problem) regarding how to choose the value of x and y. Also where to choose the greater than or less than sign
First - do you know what an integer is?
y=f(x)=mean of 10 integers
x = missing 10th integer
You don't need to plot the inequalities, I just did that to lend to understanding.
You want the largest integer less than 60. Guess and check backwards until you get a mean that is an integer (no decimal). 59,58,57... 52 is the highest integer that gives a mean that is an integer.
@@Tutorllini i get that now! Thank you
3:55 how do you know to use y? Same with 4:08 how do you know to use x?
lots of practice and experience. You don't have to do it using graphing as other commenters have pointed out. You can just guess and check for that problem. See here:
www.desmos.com/calculator/vawii3ojzn
For median do you have to arrange in ascending order
not using Desmos, no. See for yourself!
www.desmos.com/calculator/vzcrjewktf
one question, r we allowed to use desmos in the dsat?
Yes! You are allowed to use Desmos on all Digital SAT Math questions.
@@Tutorllini so will we use the internet version or is collegeboard going to make their own version in bluebook?
@@an1405g The one in the bluebook and the internet version are almost identical!
hey man, i am currently scoring 700-750 in math, any tips to go any further? i dont have much practice material as i've completed all 4 digital prac tests
1600 IO orange books and Paper SAT Maths from 2020 to 2023 for more practice
math is easy, but reading amd writing sucks. May I know what score you got for that section?
Sure! As an adult my highest score is 1540 (740 R&W + 800 MATH). I have scored an 800 MATH three times.
@@Tutorllini Wow... I wish my reading comprehension skills were better
@@Jamric-gr8gr It is really hard to meaningfully and quickly improve your reading comprehension (especially without the guidance of a tutor). I suggest focusing on Writing and Math. You can improve a lot in Writing with self study alone.
do we get this same calculator in official dsat exam with all this features ???? i just wannna know this badly ,if YES this is just Awosome.
Yes! Desmos is allowed on all Digital SAT Math Questions.
www.desmos.com/testing/cb-digital-sat/graphing
Does this make us faster or slower
kinda confused on why you made it f(x1) rather than y1. Also, why is it y>42? why y?
for the 2nd example
@nas8251 You can definitely use y! That was just personal preference. In that problem:
y = mean
x = the (missing) 10th integer
Here is another way to type it in you may prefer:
www.desmos.com/calculator/rabiz1ncjw
I hope this helps!
dope
Thanks for watching!
sir i don't understand second question
hey. its very helpful. does these desmos calculator videos cover all the areas in digital sat maths section?
Of course not! You definitely need to know things besides how to use a calculator :)
Can we find standard deviation with it?
You can - but the DSAT does not test you on that. They test you on the CONCEPT of standard deviation. They never ask you to calculate it.
Why on the Q.4
You added additional 1?
The Q. asked only for 2 x's sum
There are 2 x's in the data set. The question asks for the sum of "all possible values of x". Since it does not specify, there could be multiple values of x. In this problem there just happens to be 3 values of x. Plug the value for x back into the data set and compute the mean/median to see if they are equal. You can verify all 3 answers work.
What is the shortcut you use at 5:14 ? I pressed enter but it haven't shown as yours like adding 1 after pressing enter.
You have to do at least 2 or 3 manually, then it will start autofilling:
59 ENTER 58 ENTER ..... ENTER ENTER ENTER ENTER
Qus. 20 why the ans can't be decimal?
Like 50 the it would be 42.8
Which is also greater than 42?
The question says "integer". 42.8 is not an integer.
I did this but on the college board version and it didn’t work then I tried it on regular desmos and It did work, so is there some things you can’t do on the college board one?
Everything covered in this video can also be done on the DSAT version of Desmos. You probably typed something in wrong. Here is the link:
www.desmos.com/testing/cb-digital-sat/graphing
Can we use Desmos graph in real exam???
Yes! Desmos is allowed on all Digital SAT Math questions.
The answer of last one is 82
No, I believe the answer is 58 for the final question. Why do you think that?
Because when we add 58,12,10,26 and divide it by 5 it doesn't give 26.
@@muhammadbinahmar5742 The final asnwer is the sum. The possible x-values are: 1, 16, and 41.
10, 12, 26, x, x
so check
10, 12, 12, 1, 1
AND
10, 12, 12, 16, 16
AND
10, 12, 12, 41, 41
keep in mind the median is changing with each scenario. You must have the data values in order for Median.
hope this helps!
I got four possible values of x without using desmos🥲
Out of 5 numbers, I separately assumed median 12, 10, 26 and x and got x=1,6,41 and 16. But why there's no 6 using desmos
Edit: I found out my problem 😂😂😂 12 can never be the median, I sorted out. I have to put the numbers in ascending order haha
You must have made a mistake. If you make x=6, the mean = 12 and the median = 10:
www.desmos.com/calculator/e3x9ay7ot0
Remember question says mean and median have to be equal
@@Tutorllini I SORTED OUT it sir, thanks
